  1. just had a Hissy Fit, from Bitter Sisters out of Addison. Pretty damn tasty and smooth marzen style lager.
  2. Thanks my man. The HEB on Whitestone has it. I'll pick some up this weekend!
  3. anyone have any bock recommendations? preferably texas, but i'll branch out. had crawford, celis, shiner, toadies, probably a lot of the others too but let me hear what you got please.
  4. curious side story about her airport encroaching on his property and trying to buy him out.
  5. i agree. the series is telling two stories - the rapist and why he did what he did, and how he did it, and hopefully eventually how he got caught, and mm - and why she ended up doing what she did. imo, everyone that commits suicide or od's deserves a documentary. it's fascinating that 90% go through life with bugs hitting our windshields and just deal with it and go on. what makes the other 10% freak out or ram into a tree, or pull over and call a tow truck? what osome see as a minor speed bump, others see as a solid brick wall and stopping point.
  6. i thought they were all toast myself, but drove through katy the other day and passed one of those large chinese buffet places and the parking lot was packed. people are stupid. like seeing those pictures of the beaches where everyone is elbow to elbow. that grim reaper lifeguard guy needs to be patrolling these buffets too.
  7. della is hot so i'm in. it's a pretty solid cast all the way around, but losing lithgow would take a big divot. he's a worthless lawyer, and an entitled, whiny piece of shit, but a good actor and a likeable loser character, alot like mason.
  8. never went to les amis. was always too intimidating (and smoky) for me. quackenbush's seemed a little more lowbrow and accessible. mad dogs had a burger with guac and sprouts. holy moley that was a tasty burger. a little char on the patty. that was a great place. blue bell shakes.
  9. I like penzey's too. could spend a fortune in there. is the store off burnet or lamar still open?
  10. rebel yell 100 is $19.99. I like it better than dickel bib and heaven hill bib. for sure better than evan williams.
  11. take a break dude. its a holiday.
  12. build the wall! you will have rump roast and mashed potatoes and like it!
  13. damn, and with both barrels too. you go girl. too bad the paidless intern will read it and your rep will never hear of it.
  14. count me in the minority but paul giamatti annoys me. he's too over the top in every performance. he never blends in with the character so you forget he's acting, which is a sign of a good actor.
  15. welcome to the enlightenment.
  16. that's my experience and understanding as well. we have always done better economically with a democrat president.
  17. i get you, but all along its just been us dems bitching. sounds like spilled milk/sore losers ring to it. what we've always needed is the republicans to see what we're seeing - the destruction of the constitution, the concentration of executive power, the lies, etc, but they've always stayed loyal to him. we need more republicans to speak out against him, to take a stand for america, and say that trump has made it worse.
  18. i'm picking up too much of a comedy vibe to compare it to true detective. doesn't have the suspense or creepiness that show has. was the restaurant really called ptomaine tommy's? was disappointed he got steamrolled so badly by the movie exec. seems like a seasoned detective would have had a better plan than that. if he wants to be our hero and protagonist he's going to have to show more street smarts than that.
  19. had it a bunch of different ways, made it myself even, and just flat prefer a homemade cocktail sauce - ketchup, tabasco, lemon, horseradish, maybe a little black pepper, and there you go.
  20. his tits are bigger than hers are.
  21. i know, right? everybody knows you get that shit from a doorknob.
  22. not dumb. that's a ridiculous price.
