  1. I’m in favor of keeping this team in tact as is, but trade discussion this close to the deadline is definitely in play as a reasonable topic, especially with how much draft capital this team has in the years to come. I just don’t want to see Reed Sheppard included in anything, especially with the presumption that Ime will be the coach here for a while. Reed was built for a coach like Ime, elite shooter, hustle defender, high IQ, etc..
  2. I’m still shocked they went with the double tech, but it’s nice to see they factored in the instigator. Trae chirped the entire 4th qtr and then followed Dillon around for almost ten seconds after the late foul call, shoulder checking him along the way, before Dillon reacted and grabbed the back of his neck. Given Dillon’s history, I don’t think you can boldly say that Trae started it, but he wasn’t exactly innocent.
  3. Love cousin Eddie loading the grocery cart with several huge bags of dog food fully knowing he’s going to ask Clark to pay.
  4. 🤣 I feel like the next line before it got cut off was going to be “but not to worry, the game continued on time…”
  5. Two things.. someone once said that Ryan Reynolds was just a lame corporate version of Jason Lee and I haven’t been able to unsee that ever since and Blake Livley is the way younger sister of the dude who played Rusty in National Lampoon’s European Vacation. That’s all I have for now.
  6. I watched season 2 with my teenage daughter and we both enjoyed it together, so no real complaints, but it definitely felt like a work in progress and I can’t remember watching another series that ended a season without tying up any storylines. I feel like anything that will happen in season 3 will be just a continuation of season 2 stuff.
  7. Ridley Scott had a lot of ideas over the years and later in life has had the juice to get them funded and is now spitting out an epic type thriller almost every year that is rushed and half-assed throughout. He’s made 6 movies since The Martian and every one has been underwhelming, messy, and rightfully criticized. He’s almost 90, so not sure how many more of these projects he has left. I’m sure his brother’s death has played a role in how his career has unfolded these past ten years.
  8. He was only 38 when he was doing the “love coach” stuff at UH in the early 2000’s? Wow
  9. No chance they saw it and allowed it to make air. Whoever held the sign was able to sneak it through and get it on TV.
  10. Same. I thought they ran out of gas, especially after blowing a big lead. Awesome sign seeing them gut it out down the stretch on the road against a good team.
  11. I’ll never know love or loyalty like whatever echeese had for Greg Davis back in the early 2000’s
  12. Non hobbled Ewers averaged 5.5 yards per completion against an Arkansas team last week that held walk-on tryouts for secondary positions the week before. Hobbled Ewers didn’t even attempt a second half pass past the line of scrimmage today against Kentucky. By any metric, these are examples of bad quarterback play, healthy and unhealthy. If fans seem anxious, it’s because we have an elite defense, veteran offensive line, and 5* playmakers surrounding a quarterback that currently struggles to walk and throw. It’s frustrating because even with a 10-1 record, our ultimate goal of winning a national championship feels out of reach without a change or drastic improvement.
  13. I pray that Snyder era KState is not the model for 2020’s Texas
  14. I don’t think any team in the history of modern football has ever played an entire second half without throwing the ball past the line of scrimmage because they’re confident with their quarterback play.
  15. Yep, agreed. Beautiful throw, but the other 10 guys on offense had to get Texas inside the 5 yard line to find a situation that matches Quinn‘s skill set.
  16. The offensive game plan with Ewers seems to be stringing together 12 consecutive 4 yard completions and attempt a field goal. Arkansas brings so much pressure because Ewers hasn’t provided a consistent deep threat all season.
  17. Ewers is averaging 5 yds a completion against a team that held walkon tryouts for safety and CB positions last week.
