  1. oh hell yes. Portugal's POTUS FTW. YOINK !
  2. Ugh. yeah, no to the bitcoin bros. True or not, it’s not really significant. But I do appreciate the check. Where he’s been and what he’s done in the last several years is where the focus needs to stay.

  4. It turns out Lev, the guy Donald doesn’t even know, worked for Fred Trump in the 80’s when Donald worked for his dad. At 47 today, that would have made Lev pretty damn young to be working for Fred. Wonder what Lev’s hookup was.
  5. I don't think Lev even raises the issue unless he knows SDNY has the goods on that related matter. As you noted above, Lev is not a Trump henchman. He works for Firtash, i.e. Putin. It's Russian mob. With that in mind, realize that while Lev is giving the appearance of full disclosure, there are likely more important people he's tied to who he will not rat out. I expect Trump and Rudy have an expendable shelf life to Lev's bosses.
  6. And the 'why now' of Lev giving Maddow the high profile interview ? It's probably multiple reasons. For one, SDNY has a shit ton of evidence. The interview could serve a function of Lev signaling what they've got (and to prepare accordingly). But more directly, Lev told Maddow that he felt more safe, as in still breathing, if he came out with what he knew. Recall what made Parnas jump was when he heard Trump publicly tell the world he didn't know Lev. That's when Lev knew he was regarded as a liability who potentially was about to be tied off, literally.
  7. How about the revelation last night that Lev Parnas was negotiating a quid pro quo between Trump camp and Firtash ---> Firtash's extradition to the US for criminal prosecution "would be taken care of" in exchange for some kind of dirt said from Firtash to implicate top Mueller investigation manager Andrew Weissmann. Making the Firtash US extradition go away would have to incorporate Bill Barr. As a Republic, it's these kinds of revelations that signal we're toast if nothing happens.
  8. Good take. But there is a most conspicuous omission from your roster of key players. Putin. Probably the most interested party of all.
  9. Lev: “Bill Barr was a part of the team.”
  10. Susan Collins should get negged repeatedly.
  11. There appears to be more than a remote possibility that some news bombshells are known within the House - like related to Lev's comms - and stand to drop smack in the middle of the Senate trial. There's a clear nexus between Lev and pals, Firtash. Rudy and Trump wrt to the whole Ukraine scandal around which Trump has abused his power and obstructed Congress. It could make for a difficult spot for GOP Senate hell bent on perpetuating the coverup. At least I hope that's the case. It certainly could help explain why Trump has pivoted to calling for outright dismissal of his impeachment by the Senate sans trial.
  12. It appears it’s not a hack - the tweets evidently are appeals of support to protesters of Iran’s govt.
  13. There’s two Farsi posts up now on his official feed and it’s been over two hours. Damn.
  14. Iranians hacked Trump’s official Twitter account posting in Farsi ???!!!
  15. It’s reasonable to consider that Trump/Rudy Hunter Biden Ukraine cock-up was about bothsides-ing the corrupt criminality of Ivanka, Eric, and Jr as it was damaging a presidential candidate. The kiddos in the legal sights would be no bueno for Dotard with no false equivalence to stupify the public. Kush has a whole special level of hell awaiting him.
  16. That includes Ivanka, Eric, and Jr. They’ll end up making Hunter look like a kid wielding an air pump plinker.
  17. “Hell, I don't think anything about impeachment calls for fairness or impartiality. It's a political process.” With that in mind, fairness = reveal complicit GOP bias as much as possible. There is also a major political impact in drawing this out which favors Pelosi’s stance. Recall a majority of Americans support impeachment with removal. GOP Senate can’t dodge that. There’s also talk of the effect on Trump of giving the SOTU on 2/4 without having been acquitted. R’s do not have any political leverage when it’s obvious they’re trying to be as “unfair” as possible. Pelosi is forcing this to percolate as more comes out, as is the case in the last couple weeks.
  18. Trump's ego can't tolerate not controlling the news cycle for even a day. It drives him nuts. The Senate not removing Trump notwithstanding, GOP Senate still stands to take political damage, especially vulnerable senators. This was Trump's way of setting the narrative in the first week of the new year after the holidays. Right now, it looks like it's going to fizzle, which is good, obviously.
  19. I have an odd feeling Trump wanted and expected this wag to bear more political fruit and last longer. Iran has effectively smothered it with a wet blanket. Impeachment talk not going away.
  20. No doubt. Once Trump was installed as POTUS, co-signing risk for Trump's DB loans nearly a decade ago became a drop in the bucket of Putin's windfall. Recall this from Felix Sater in 2015, when Sater was serving as an intermediary between Trump and the Kremlin on negotiations for Trump Tower Moscow. : “Our boy can become president of the USA and we can engineer it...I will get all of Putin’s team to buy in on this, I will manage this process.” After Trump had blown through all his inheritance and went bankrupt in the early aughts, Russian mob found its mark and brought him back to life over the course of years. Trump's Presidency is their payback time.
  21. All we know is reporting from late 2017 that Mueller subpoenaed DB records and zeroed in on Trump. From this most recent news from the son of deceased DB exec Broeksmit, we know that FBI counterintelligence is investigating links between DB and Russian bank VTB. VTB is said to be Putin and oligarchs' personal piggy bank. VTB is also sanctioned.
  22. no chance at getting detained. that tailor fit makes you more elusive than a 70's tear away
