  1. Keep in mind ----> McGahn is the top of the pyramid of high value witnesses from the Mueller report on Trump serial obstruction of justice, and arguably the hardest to compel to testify to Congress. If the former WH counsel has to testify, the compelled testimonies of all the other Mueller witnesses defying Congress should rapidly follow suit. If not mistaken, judge Beryl Howell rules on McGahn testimony to the House in six days. Marcy Wheeler thinks it's likely we'll see McGahn testify to Congress:
  2. Ain't no one shutting nothing down. Also don't think Chief Justice Roberts shields the Trumpster fire.
  3. Hello. Perfect overlap with Roger Stone/Wikileaks trial and evidence that directly touches Trump campaign awareness/possible proof of coordination with Stone. Trial slated to start in less than two weeks on Nov 5th.
  4. Yep, but there were also suppositions that asking first without subpoenas, then with, then progressing later using the force of a formal impeachment inquiry would help demonstrate that it was all justifiable as less intrusive/heavy handed approaches were ineffective. Also, I still think House Dem leadership working with their hired legal staff (headed by Doug Letter) gamed the timeline out way back at the beginning of the year. Based on what we're learning about how far back Rudy's Ukraine scheme goes, there's a fair chance Pelosi/Schiff knew something about what was afoot when she took the gavel - and Pelosi's calm observation this summer knowing Trump "would self-impeach" despite the Barr/Mueller Report fiasco tends to support her awareness that more was forming. When you look at that slate of court cases posted above that will become legally enforceable decisions spilling into next year, it's easy to see why McConnell is eager for impeachment to happen before this Thanksgiving. The trump shit-storm is only going to gather more energy and flying debris headed into 2020.
  5. Rand striking the exact same corrupt note as Pompeo last week defending Trump's bribery of Ukraine: “Nations work together and they say ‘Boy, goodness gracious, if you can help me with ‘X,’ we’ll help you achieve ‘Y.’ This is what partnerships do.” ---> That's an excellent description of both international diplomacy and organized crime, depending upon the "X." In this case eXtortion.
  6. Anyone who thinks Putin can't flip some switches to scuttle re-election hopes (putting it lightly) of not only Trump, but Congressional GOP is still wandering the wilderness. Nothing new here. You want to see a pee tape? Check current Russian state media where Putin has already opened his fly over Trump. It's beyond humiliating. And he's nowhere near ready to shake it yet.
  7. Wait until Congress gets his tax returns and bank financials.
  8. All meeting in Vienna? --> indicted Dimitry Firtash, Fruman, Parnas, mob lawyers Toensing and diGenova, and Rudy. I think Hannity was supposed to go too. I'd be shocked if DiGenova and Toensing aren't also "representing" Hannity.
  9. 4-5 months of Pelosi anchoring the rope until the next election would be a lot different than a full year. And the later the exit (by whatever means) of Trump the greater the disarray on the R side around organizing and launching campaigns.
  10. Probably oversimplified, I view it two spectrums outside of inaccuracies or biases: 1) the extent to which information or purported views produced are knowingly false, and 2) the extent to which attempts are made to hide underlying motives. You can apply that to your partner as much as you could a government, but the means by which you process each is pretty different. But generally, false information and hidden motives are harder to sustain with more constant and detailed contact. Things like twitter, FB, and other social media are the great equalizer in that they diminish the depth and color of face to face interactions while also enhancing the 'reality' of AI type interaction.
  11. The effective counter to propaganda and other manipulative influence is to plainly make people aware of it. You don’t even have to be entirely accurate or correct in exposing it, just causing people to stop and question odd behavior and info goes a long way. Love her or hate her, Clinton effectively stuck a shiv in Tulsi’s balloon. The gig is up. Watch. ...and per above, tonight bowing out of Congress. Aloha !
  12. If by the media elevated Trump you mean they completely ignored the historical fact Trump is a mob connected financial fraud, then yeah.
  13. Wonder how many dual citizenship PAC donors are lined up for oligarch cash to 1% Tulsi.
  14. like when the definition of a crime is an attempt to commit it.
  15. R's are going to get their transparency alright. Impeachment inquiry might be public by mid-November: report BY ZACK BUDRYK - 10/23/19 10:23 PM EDT House Democrats might make their impeachment inquiry public as early as mid-November, according to The Washington Post. The committees conducting the inquiry have largely held the hearings in private thus far to prevent witnesses from coordinating testimony, but some Democrats are now pushing to make the hearings public after Republicans — many of them not on the committees — stormed the hearing room Wednesday and delayed the proceedings for several hours. During the public portion of the inquiry, Democrats hope to question William Taylor, the head of the U.S. Embassy in Kiev, and former Ukraine ambassador Marie Yovanovitch. They have already questioned both in private. Taylor testified Tuesday that nearly $400 million in military aid was contingent on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announcing investigations into former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden. Several Democrats have also expressed a desire to hear from former national security adviser John Bolton, who was reportedly a vocal opponent of the campaign to pressure Zelensky. Bolton, who resigned last month, told the Post that he would “have my say in due course.” “It’s going to be the difference between reading a dry transcript and actually hearing the story from the people who were in the room,” Rep. Jim Himes (D-Conn.), a member of the House Intelligence Committee, told the Post. “I think the story needs to be told, you know, the story of the abuse of power. ... People like the various ambassadors who have come to testify need to come tell it.” However, Democrats have also noted that impeachment has historically included a closed-door investigative stage followed by public proceedings. [...] cont. ------------------- The House is doing initial closed door hearings as part of a formal impeachment inquiry. This prevents a premature, potentially unwarranted, circus spectacle and functions like a grand jury in part to limit hostile witness coordination (though there is evidence that is already happening). But now that House Dems know that they have on record multiple witnesses across agencies corroborating elaborate attempted bribery by Trump (which already has resulted in an adverse outcome in Ukraine re Russia) House can next take it public and have those same witnesses testify for the world to see as the case for impeachment of Trump for bribery is made to all Americans. R's have to be happy with the next stage of transparency, right ?? Their staged pizza in the parlor sit-in has paid off royally.
  16. ^^^ 3. This is Bribery. By another name, extortion. This is now a smoking gun. Trump directly committed bribery. It is one of two crimes specified in the Constitution that warrants impeachment.
  17. Yang defends Tulsi against inferences about being a Russian asset, then turns around and hires the guy who partnered with Manafort in Ukraine. wtf, Yang. Time to cull the herd.
  18. Being reported : House Sargent at Arms just walked into the SCIF. (reported this morning). Arrest just one and see what happens
