  1. I rarely watch games anymore so I'm out of the loop on this, but what happened to KT? Was is just the aftermath of that achilles injury?
  2. Saturday I was able to get up and around and even run a couple of errands. Today, I feel good, other than some lingering congestion. Headed back to work tomorrow.
  3. I'm 6'6 and over 50, and I'm fucking clinging to 295 for dear life, don't want to break 300. I'd kill to see 260 again.
  4. Several schools in my area went to virtual only for part of the week. Too many sick teachers and bus drivers and not enough coverage.
  5. My wife and I have been down sick since Sunday evening. Got one of those home tests for flu and covid, turns out we both have flu type A. Fuck this sucks.
  6. I was venting to my sister about this shit and she said she had Geico and was pleased with it. I ran an estimate on their site and it was MUCH lower for both home and auto. I had called my broker on tuesday to bitch about this and was told they "have had a lot of calls like this" and that he'd look into it and I'd get a call within a couple of days. I still haven't heard from him, but I'll give him another day before I cut him loose.
  7. Just got my homeowner's renewal in the mail, the rate went up $1200/YR WTF. No claims in over 10 years and none with this company. I refuse to pay $4900 a year for this shit. And double fuck you to whomever thought up the idea of a "wind/hail percentage" deductable.
  8. I keep seeing these stories online: "Mygrandparent died and I got more/less money than my relative and now there's hard feelings". I don't get it. If I go first, my wife gets everything and will have to decide what to do with it. My kids (her stepkids for over 15 years now) have a great relationship with her and I'm not worried about that, but my grandkids? They'll get whatever is left after my wife, and then their parents, get what they want. I've never received anything after the death of a grandparent and I couldn't care less. My buddy had a roller coaster of a time: his folks divorced when he was in grade school, dad remarries. 30 some odd years later, dad is in poor health. Friend's relationship with his step-mom is not great, she straight up tells him that when his dad dies, he can go pound sand and he's not getting shit. She and her kids will get everything. Plot twist: a few months later, step-mom drops dead. His dad died about a year or so later. My friend got everything; the family land, the house, the massive gun collection, the cars. Step-sibs got jack shit.
  9. My wife, kids and I are all in a Life360 group. I got it when the kids started driving and we've never gotten rid of it. But I find myself instinctively trying to track people that aren't in my group. Like if I'm meeting my sister for lunch or waiting for my buddy to get to the golf course. "Where the fuck are they?", I'll reach for my phone to check and feel like a moron.
  10. We had this shit happen at my office (state agency). They started WFH during covid and some people just couldn't be bothered to actually fucking work. But instead of singling out those fucks individually, they just punished the whole group and made them all come back to the office. So stupid.
  11. I know she had a kid with the QB that died of cancer. Don't know of any other pregnancies but from the stuff I remember, she tried to bang every dude on the team.
  12. His daughter was fun, though.
  13. Sorry, but fuck that dumb woman. Why would you go into the house and say "We have a problem. You have to see this"? It wasn't a double rainbow or some other stupid shit. You run in and say "There's a fire headed our way, we need to pack up and leave ASAP!". Life isn't a sitcom, talk like a human being.
