The not giving a fuck about what other people think is the best part about getting g older. I like what I like. IDGAF what you think.Agreed. I love watching "Sense and Sensibility" and don't care what anyone says. Hell, give me any Brit period piece, I'm down.

I hate taking a shit a work but it hit me pretty hard yesterday and I had to do it. I sat down on the toilet and it was as cool as the other side of the pillow. A Christmas wish come true.
Only thing better is when you open the bathroom door and all the lights are out because no one has been in there yet.

Honestly I don't care - its your food. Put A-1 and mayonnaise on it for all I care.
My only pet peeve is when the well done crowd wants to impart their preference on a large cut like a tenderloin or prime rib. Please don't tell me to cook it longer. Don't act disgusted when there is blood on the platter.
That's where the disagreement comes in. If you want your piece burned, do it yourself after its carved. I have no problem with that. Just don't harass me to overcook the whole thing to your sole liking or criticize the final product.
That's our unspoken code - She doesn't tell me to cook it longer, and I don't give her shit about the skillet.
If you're paying for your own steak in a restaurant; ask the chef to drag it through his ass crack and soak it in dishwater for all I care. It's yours - that's a you deal and not a me deal.
I won't call you out for ordering well done, just as I don't want a vegan / gluten-nut haranguing me about my sausage gravy covered biscuit.
I agree, if this is a large piece of meat that is intended to serve multiple people, it shouldn't be cooked to the preference of one person. I can't remember the last time I ate something like that, so the thought didn't cross my mind. I'm usually just ordering a steak at a restaurant.

Because it's like putting a tattoo on a beautiful set of tits. You're ruining one of God's creations
But if you never got to see them naked and never got to suck on them, WTF difference does it make? I could understand if I took your last steak without asking but not if I purchase my own steak and cook it however I like. I'll never understand why anyone cares how another person eats their steak.

I work in state government. My boss starting working for the state the year before I was born. I am 47 years old. She doesn't know exactly what I do, nor how to do my job in the event that I wasn't around. She treats the women in our area with kid gloves and allows them to get away with murder. Meanwhile, my one other male co-worker and I are always treated with a sense of suspicion, like we're trying to get away with something. It's infuriating.
That being said, she isn't a raving asshole. Just ignorant and (IMO) a misandrist. She doesn't micromanage and because of her ignorance, we can get things done without too much pushback. She just wants the credit, which I don't care about. I just want the proper results.
None of us believe she'll retire, she'll die in her office. But if she did retire, I wouldn't be sad or happy. I don't really care. 13 years till retirement, y'all.

I've been buying the same bodywash on Amazon for a while now but when I tried to order it again, they "Don't know when this will be available again". WTF, I'm used to this one now!

I was gutted to hear this. I just love his music. And while this might be an unpopular opinion, I think his version of "Me and Bobby McGee" is the best that has ever been recorded. He makes you feel like you're right there with him, inside the song.
Godspeed, Charley.

There are plenty of coaches out there that could beat OU, win bowl games, and the occasional conference crown.
Would you kindly steer one of those guys to Stillwater, OK? Because this sounds like crazy talk.
Thanks in advance.

Plus "Fuck Ohio State!" right?
Like you care about a money grab. Were you saying that when the B1G canceled all fall sports in the interest of public health while the Big XII, ACC, and SEC elected to play anyway? I recall seeing the fans of other conferences being universally critical of the B1G and PAC-12 for putting caution ahead of profit. So I don't believe you're being honest when you say you care about a money grab.
I don't give a shit if it's ohio st, michigan or purdue. Don't change the rules at the end of the game, that's some weak shit. And yes, I thought it was dumb to cancel games as early as the B10 did, I thought they should've waited to see how bad it got before making a decision.

No he isn't. If the Michigan game doesn't happen and tOSU can't schedule a replacement, the conference will revisit their rules citing a need to be "flexible." They're not going to keep the only team in the conference with a chance to make the playoff out of the CCG. Barry Alvarez has already been telegraphing this.
If you're willing to change shit up on the fly, do it for more than just a money grab. I hate it when there's a fuck up during a game and it costs a team a victory, only to have the brass say "Yeah, that sucks but we're powerless to reverse that outcome or to fix anything.". Either be about getting things right all the time, or deal with the rules you already made.

It's nice seeing oSu in uniforms that don't make you want to puke.
Yeah well, the offense decided it was their turn to handle those duties.

My ex-wife intitially went to college on a music scholarship for playing the sax and could also play the piano. I expressed a desire to learn to play the guitar during our marriage and she totally shot that shit down, I never did get an answer as to why. After we eventually divorced, I decided to take lessons (I was 35 at this time). I bought a mexican strat off of ebay and took lessons. I sucked, the experience sucked, I was so frustrated. Looking back, I think I should've found a better instructor. I sold the guitar and gear and bought golf clubs. I suck at that too but at least it's fun.
I want to try again but now I'm 47 and I don't know if my hands are up to the task. If I do, I'm going to go for an acoustic guitar instead. Do some flamenco shit, like Esteban.

Medicinal only. My recent drive through OKC had me standing outside a dispensary like a 16-year-old trying to buy beer at the 7-11.
$175 for a medical license that took a few days to process.
Mucho dispensaries.
Man, those places have "new patient sign up" specials all the time. $99 and you can do it on facetime. It's pretty much medicinal in name only.
CSB/ I went to the dispensary with my buddy (I don't smoke). Not only did the worker let me in the back with the product, he told me "Next time, tell him what you want before you come in and it's all good".

Everyone says this like prisons are full of stand up parents who give a shit about random kids. I’d like to see some statistics that people in prison for crimes against children fare worse than average while incarcerated.I worked in a county jail in the mid 90s. A guy and his wife were in jail, awaiting trial for beating their infant daughter to death. The guy was a little loudmouth, always had the other inmates cracking up. I wondered why he wasn't looked at as a monster but whatever. One day, I saw him in a different pod and he looked like hell. Turns out the local news did a story on him and plastered his face on the TV, all the guys in the dayroom saw it and beat his ass pretty good.

Seems like Okie State plays their best game every year against Texas but shit show against OU. Don’t get it.
No offense, but it's because Texas isn't very good and ou is usually very good.

I do not pay the tolls, nor do I pay txtag bills when they come in the mail. I have piles of unpaid tolls from Texas, Illinois, West Virginia, Maryland and Florida. None will ever be paid. Just ignore them and they will go away.
I've ignored toll bills from Brockway, Ogdenville, and North Haverbrook, and, by gum, they can't find me on the map!

The defense is pretty good but why on earth do you think OSU "should" win? Gundy's won this game twice. Once with the greatest team in the history of the fucking program and the other when Stoops made one of the most boneheaded mistakes of his career. The spread was at 10 until some covid rumors have it down around 7. I want a win badly but Gundy + Sanders' turnovers = 38-16 fuckheads win.
Damn, I just about nailed it. It's like I've seen this movie before or something.

OSU is going to need to get a real offensive coordinator instead of a journeyman WR coach. This guy has no feel.
It doesn't matter, look at who's pulling the strings. The only OCs that resisted were Dana, who didn't give a fuck, and Monken, who was Gundy's BFF and told him GTFO his offense.

To be fair, being a part of 5 wins is almost 30% of OSU’s total Bedlam wins.
27.77%
To be fair, he's kind of a fuckstick.

He was on Bob Simmons' staff for one, Lester's staff for 2, got 2 on his own.

I was watching an episode of Nova about Jupiter and there was footage of the Pioneer and Voyager launches. My wife was casually watching and asked "Were those manned missions?". When I just quietly said no, she said "Well, I mean, we didn't land there, right? I mean, were there people on the ships or whatever?". Another quiet "No" from me and that was that. It was hard to keep from laughing out loud but I was strong.
