  1. That is awesome footage. I’ve never seen drone footage of a tornado.
  2. Yes, this site never ceases to amaze me on shit like this. I think we were like 11:12 am on the North Course.
  3. Oh...I see. What you're saying is, "forcefield", right?
  4. I played golf at Torrey Pines last Monday. We got paired with a Japanese couple in their 70's that had an extremely difficult time speaking English. Yet, when they introduced themselves, they were Chris and Monica. So maybe Bert is common?
  5. This should have been done three weeks ago.
  6. This is good info. Thanks.
  7. Rockin that Addidas hat!
  8. I don't really go any more but the Water Tank is vastly different than it was just 2-3 years ago. Different manager and the back patio/draft bar is a cool spot, especially in football season.
  9. She was never "banned" from the Water Tank. She just wore out her welcome and no one liked her there anymore so she quit going. She posted several times during her campaign drinking at "The Mill". I think she still goes there pretty frequently.
  10. With what? Are you saying they'd move their entire Ukranian operation to Poland? Or do you think they could bring in more equipment/people? They are losing equipment by the minute, it has become obvious that their soldiers are not anything as expected, they couldn't logistics their way out of a paper bag and they'd leave their own homeland defenseless. I would think that the world and Poland would be licking their chops if Putin tried to double down this operation to include Poland at the same time.
  11. How dare you smite the name of Georgetown by associating the outlet mall with Georgetown!!! That is Round Rock for Christs Sakes!!
  12. Are the Russians slowing this thing down to wait for the mud to dry up? When does the weather in Ukraine clear up and provide dry ground for the convoys to move easier?
  13. Haven't we seen destroyed russian convoys inside cities in the rah rah Ukrainian posts? Haven't we been hearing constantly about Russian soldier shooting civilians in the cities? There are a lot of posts and tweets about Russians doing dastardly deeds inside cities, so not all of those shots are from miles away from the structures.
  14. You are not answering my question, though. How do you know that those buildings were not hit because there were Ukrainians with AK47's and Javelins firing out the windows? If there is someone shooting out of the building, it is fair game to fire back. As mentioned up thread...the US took out a lot of buildings in their previous two stops because there were bad guys shooting from those buildings. Did we have to face any War Crimes for it?
  15. Which is precisely why I add the caveat that I was only talking about the attacks on civilian buildings.
  16. Unpopular take ahead: Not that I am siding with Russia on this, but won't it be difficult for the Ukes, or anyone, to prove "War Crimes" related to destroying residential building? Obviously anything pertaining to illegal weapons and targeting obvious civilians is a different story. The main Ukrainian government twitter and social media are continually reporting on how their civilian citizenry is taking up arms against the Russians. If a Russian soldier pulls onto a street and there is gunfire coming from every widow of every apartment building and they fire back or call in some heavy gunfire to that location, that doesn't seem to be committing any War Crimes as much as just fighting a war.
  17. I am going to start a new "SERIOUS" thread that ONLY reports on documented canned vegetable weaponry. This thread has been great but I think we can do better.
  18. So when we are seeing these dollar values for Russian hardware, how realistic are those actual numbers? For instance, just up thread there was a blown out Ruskie tank that they claimed was worth $25M. A few days ago there was a photo with multiple pieces of equipment that was allegedly worth half a Billion. I understand that an American equivalent might cost that much to American taxpayers, but we are also all too aware that in the US, the private sector makes the shit and sells it to the government at a ridiculous markup. But isn't all of the gear in Russia produced by the State, which sets the labor costs and doesn't need a markup? I can't imagine Vlady is paying for a tank/helicopter/plane what "we" pay for it.
  19. It was actually just a joke and I really don’t care.
  20. Maybe the Z is commemorate the movie that launched the American and International career of Mel Gibson: Attack Force Z https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Attack_Force_Z
  21. I am attempting to harness the power of Surly to figure out the name of this place that was in Austin in the late 80s\early 90s. Anyone remember the name? Thanks in advance
