  1. You could replace Horner with Sporty Spice and Max is still going to win by 15s.
  2. Do you need motor replacement parts or blade replacement? I assume the jointer must be a straight blade vs. spiral/helical cutter head so you could even just have the blades sharpened instead of replaced. Replacement straight blades are generally cheap too (just did this on our planer). Lots of options for blade replacement. Motor replacement would be a different animal given the age of those tools.
  3. Looks like a tank, love the colors, metals, and screws. If they had used a different font for the numerals, I'd be sold. I'd just look at that and think it's "G o'clock", which sounds like a rap lyric.
  4. So in what scenario would you want to post a bond and stay the execution of the judgement - you're afraid the other party is going to spend your money or otherwise make it more difficult to recover? The more I learn about the law, the more I want to ensure I never have to deal with it beyond reasonable.
  5. Echoing this - pure on walnut is awesome. I sand to 220 for Rubio but that's probably more than necessary really. I think they recommend 180-220 and no more - it apparently needs a little grit to help adhere. Which is another huge benefit not having to wet sand all the way to 400 (fuck off, poly).
  6. I'm nearly 100% Rubio these days. Love the ease, look, and sheen.
  7. DTS... Overdramatized, overproduced, pandering. Whatever. I still watch it and I love it. Can't wait to dive into this season.
  8. Maybe my memory is fuzzy, but I don't recall Bahrain being bumpy enough to cause THAT many sparks. Are the cars running lower and/or is porpoising back?
  9. We know you're not alone. That's why I think this country is less safe and less secure than it has been in a long time.
  10. Oh no, he cited polls as evidence. Everyone take cover!
  11. I know, I know, it's only Day 1 but Max is making mincemeat of the field... Again. And judging by the comments, there are definitely a lot of full racing laps happening. Ominous signs of a repeat of 2023.
  12. There are services that will refurb the strap and get rid of the slack. I think it ends up slightly cheaper and you get to keep the original.
  13. Don't be a dolt. The signing of scorecards is a pointless exercise on tour. No one is trying to cheat by turning in an incorrect card - they'd never get away with it. I get why it's needed elsewhere.
  14. Some of the rules in this game are just stupid.
  15. They've already expelled one. They have no problem eating their own and this one causes headaches for the GOP.
  16. I think there are plenty of McCarthy loyalists who are still pissed at how things went down that are chomping at the bit to knock a few foreheads off this guy. If they did it to a cross dresser, they can do it to a backstabbing 6 head.
  17. I think that's the beauty of that hole - hitting at the hole is a bad shot. I can almost guarantee Tiger did not intend that line and he knew what was coming. If you want to go for that green, you have to hit a cut and enter from the left. It takes an inch perfect shot to have a putt at eagle which is how a short par 4 should be. I think 10 is one of my favorite holes, at least from a spectator's standpoint.
  18. Spieth and Pitter Patter are putting on a putting show. Fun to watch.
  19. You're cherry picking parts of my post now. Read the last paragraph. Pick your stat. The Niners D regressed almost down the board. (Edit: went and actually looked, passing D was slightly better, run D way worse, overall worse... again, with better players this year). And if you still think PPG is a better determination of defensive effectiveness than advanced stats like EPA, then you don't understand stats. PPG is also a measure of your opponents offensive effectiveness. EPA at least attempts to adjust for that to isolate the defense. Sorry it's too "nerdy" for you to wrap your head around.
  20. Advanced metrics are far better, such as EPA if we're on the PPG train of thought (would hope that was obvious). #1 to #12 YoY in EPA. Pedestrian especially given talent. I'm guessing in most every stat, the 49ers regressed on D and that's with more talent on the roster YoY.
  21. Too lazy to look it up but didn't something similar happen before either the snow storm or treemagedon?
  22. If you're just going to cherry pick misleading stats and ignore the rest, then this is going to be pointless discussion.
  23. It's fine but for the players he has, it's pedestrian especially compared to 2022. And most of the slip was on the running side of the ball, something an offensive minded head coach is going to go nuts over. I watched every game intently (Niners fan) - he rarely stunted, rarely blitzed, and was soft against the run. He ran a bend but don't break D. That's not going to fly with any offensive minded HC.
  24. He wasn't fired for the Super Bowl. He was fired for the previous 4 months of poor play for the level of player he had available.
  25. Yes, the 49ers D played great during the Super Bowl. Wilks wasn't fired for the Super Bowl. He was fired because he inherited a better personnel package than last year and the defense regressed mightily, especially against the run. Mid way through the season, Wilks was told he had to get out of the box and coach on the sideline, likely so Shanahan could babysit his calls. The trust was never there.
