  1. Will, JT, and Mito in a playoff perhaps? Fuck yes, please. This has been entertaining, don't stop.
  2. Whelp, got one in at -5. Let's see if it holds. JT winning with a -5 would be a bit of a backdoor. -6 would have been clean but oh well.
  3. That was a big balls putt.
  4. If JT makes that for birdie on 18, I don't think this would count as a backdoor. The course is playing hard and JT has gone out and taken it.
  5. That's gonna be a nervy putt-o for Mito. I wonder how drinks in Joaquin is at this point.
  6. Without looking it up, he spends more time on the European circuit than say, Rory. But he still plays enough PGA events that you would rightly expect him to have won by now, given his game.
  7. My -5 take is looking good.
  8. All of the top 3 have had their shaky moments. Someone get in and post -5 and see what happens.
  9. Stenson was top 10 in the world and pretty close to peak of his career in 2016 - he was a proper major winner. Willet and Walker are definitely weird, though Lyme disease really fucked Walker's career.
  10. I think this major in particular just produces some strange winners. Looking like this year may be no different. Masters has had some head scratchers, too.
  11. I disagree. As soon as you start believing your swing is the problem, especially mid round of a major, you're uber fucked. Middle of a round is not the time to lose faith in your process. Jordan has commented on a few occasions what he admires about Tiger is he always stays positive about his process during a round. Ya, he hits bad shots and reacts but he never berates himself or loses belief in his process. I think Jordan tries hard to emulate that.
  12. A mega airport 45 minutes from any big city isn't going to work unless you're Heathrow or Narita. And neither AA nor SW would be interested if you still keep AUS and SAT open. Will never happen, and for good reason.
  13. I'd take the opposite side of that bet in a heartbeat. Rory isn't dead at all.
  14. Agreed. One is green and one is navy. And from my Integra mod days, I'm pretty sure flashy green is like ++50 hp wootz. Advantage AM.
  15. Another interesting FP2 for Merc. Maybe even more so because both cars were competitive, not just a fluke Russell lap.
  16. Or lock his keys in his car.
  17. You have world #1, 2, and 3 all in the same group. And they are a very distant second in the "most compelling group." The three golfers in this tournament that can grow the game more than any other are Tiger, Jordan, and Rory and they're in the same group. They better deliver.
  18. Been using nespresso for the past... Forever. After spending a week in Paris drinking amazing espresso, I decided to splurge on a better machine. Wife and I are both turning 40 this summer so I figured, why not buy it as a joint birthday gift? Didn't want something super manual or the wife would never use it. Didn't want a super automatic and not have much flexibility to experiment. Ended up with the Breville Oracle Touch and it's awesome! So much better espresso and has a decent amount of flexibility. Currently using some local beans I bought from the Epoch around the corner. Just stunned at the huge step up this is with very little fiddling and a very small jump up in time commitment. Excited to keep experimenting!
  19. We'll always have that moment he slapped his hot wife's ass after winning the PGA on national TV. Life was good.

Assist and goal in the last two matches for CP10. Rounding into form at just the right time for the WC. Oh right, WC isn't in the summer this year. Fucking Qatar.
  21. If anyone knows how to fall on his face and collapse in a pile of his own shit, it's Greg "6 stroke lead to a 5 stroke loss at the fucking Masters" Norman. Damn sting ray took the wrong Aussie from us.
  22. Lamb shanks would be good, I'm just not a huge veal fan. Beef shanks are stellar, especially for the bonus marrow that melts out.
  23. Made "Osso Buco" (not really Osso Buco but not sure what else to call it) - beef shank, tomatoes, wine, and more stuff garnished with gremolata - and some cacio e pepe. One of my favorite meals. Obligatory sous chef pic as well. Used a flower petal shaped pasta for the first time courtesy of Austin pasta company. Not sure what it's called but it was perfect for the dish.
