  1. Looks like RT has a whole week to prep the team to play the worst team in the conference in a game that is a must win. He’s walking a fine line with little to no room for a dud if he wants to keep his job and the team wants to make the ncaa tournament. Will be interesting to see if the team comes out with the fire they showed at the end of the Kentucky game.
  2. I’ll be both
  3. A little banged up I believe
  4. Keep driving the lane and drawing fouls … that rushed 3-point “look at me” early in the shot clock offense is bullshit
  5. Hard to win the close games when your starting center doesn’t score, rebound or defend worth a shit
  6. This the same guy who is currently playing his towards a low seed NIT bid?
  7. No offensive plan… just throwing up tough shots … Johnson’s made em but the law of averages will make this a double digit lead for them soon if we don’t start running something more than the weave to try to get an open look
  8. If RT has a system, it’s too loose and iso reliant to survive a high stakes game. His guys make repetitive bad decisions and mistakes and not clamping down on the repetitious shit is on the coach.
  9. Too often when it gets close or the team needs to run a play and get a good look or foul call, too many of our guys panic and shoot a doublecovered, off-balance 3. Poor discipline/game iq.
  10. Low percentage alley oop pass and two quick, well covered, low iq 3 pointers … this is shitty, lazy, unmotivated group of individuals tonight … no team play in sight
  11. That’s all on Rodney … a gift to the Arkansas defense… he should know better unless Johnson, kaluma and pope are in foul trouble or injured
  12. Weaver is a keeper and can/should get meaningful minutes, regardless of Pryor's ascent. Just don't force him for long minutes into line-ups with limited scoring options. The team has looked a lot better in the past few games. That said, we are still somewhat basic in offensive sets and glaringly weak/inconsistent at center with defense and rebounding and that will be exploited by a good coach if we make the tournament and play against decent, physical, big men. Assuming we keep improving and even get enough wins to make it into the tournament, we could win 1 or maybe even 2 games with good matchups if Shedrick does his job on the boards and 3 of the Johnson/Kaluma/Pope/Mark group play well and make enough shots to cover our defensive woes. I'm not convinced yet that we can deal with a good coach that lures Shed out of the paint to cover a man on defense and attacks the paint with size and offensive rebounding. That said, Pryor has been a nice find recently with interior help defense and rebounding. Maybe with him and Kaluma, we have turned a corner on allowing a ton of layups a game.
  13. Pryor has looked damn good the past couple games … needs more minutes
