We know what we have with Vok and Swain. Pope and Mark are consistently inconsistent. They are not guards who can run an offense or handle a press/trap. If Wilcher and Heide continue to gain minutes and confidence, and can provide consistent points, this team could be good enough to fight for a tournament spot. We run the fast break fairly well and probably need to do that as much as we can to keep the pressure off Pope and Mark. Mark did look better last night in the small forward/swing role with Wilcher and Weave on the court and Swain at PF. He seemed more comfortable passing and driving out of that lineup. The smaller line-up with this team is probably as big as our large lineup last year, so we can run that without getting punished if Traore and Vok defend and rebound ok. We are basically as team with 2 guards, Wilcher and Pope. Mark and Weav are basically small forwards, though Weav can defend 1-4. Tonight's game should provide a good glimpse of what Miller thinks will be the most effective line-up(s) in SEC.
