  1. Seems that this half is going a bit better. K State starting to miss shots.
  2. Bishop has had a couple of nice drives and moves -- hesitation and drive, and that up and under move
  3. A foul? What? On K-State? I didn't think that was possible...
  4. After watching Texas trip over their own dicks for a decade, it's nice to see ou finally doing so. Things are imploding up there. You hate to see it. But more than that, you love to see it.
  5. Yes. But I do believe the balance of college football power will skew back to Texas and aggy in the next few years as alumni-funded NIL becomes more pervasive. A&M will have to shift toward NIL to stay competitive for recruits, and they have the alumni base and dollars to do it. Texas, aggy, and a very small handful of other schools have the alumni base, dollars, and appetite to be the leaders for NIL. As CTJ and others have stated, ou and many SEC schools are freaking out because they know their days are numbered. Georgia might get Caleb Williams for 1-2M, but they don't have the money to pay for every roster spot like Texas does. So yeah, aggy is paying out big bags now to try and win soon, because they know that they are waaaay behind when it comes to pulling together an NIL plan like we have through CFC, HWH, and others to come. Building alumni-funded NIL doesn't happen overnight. Thanks again to the visionaries here and beyond for putting Texas on the cutting edge.
  6. Creating a military culture instead of embracing NIL does NOT equate to "we will be just fine." Get fucked, Sooners.
  7. Man it feels good to beat the living shit out of WVU.
  8. Good Lord our defense is even better than it was out of conference. Holy shit.
  9. Let's go -- ready to start conference games after our (mostly) boring OOC.
  10. The Ontario to Honolulu flight feels a hell of a lot shorter than the return flight, I can guarantee you that. And I've never been to Ontario.
  11. There may be hope for that cop yet, if he follows in the footsteps of another LAPD legend who had to surrender his weapon after killing a child: [Sorry, I know that is in terribly bad taste.]
  12. I'm sure plenty of people around the country see him as a douchebag. Who cares. Fuck those dipshits. I hope he hangs his nuts all over those mouth breathing jealous bitches.
  13. Funny, I think Carr's passing / assists have been the ONLY thing that have been remotely above average in his play. I didn't see today's game, so maybe he was off. But as bad as his scoring, driving, rebounding has been in previous games, his distribution and passes into cutting lanes has been pretty effective. Still a huge disappointment thus far overall.
  14. Was with the fam in South Africa and the kids begged to go to Monkey Jungle, an enclosed park where you wander around and check out lemurs, monkeys, etc. We knew to keep our stuff close and so we kept tight grips on backpacks, cameras, phones, etc. We were nearing the end of the walk when this sneaky little bastard starting eyeing us: In less than 2 seconds that little spider monkey jumped onto my wife, ripped the glasses from her face, and tore off up a tree. My wife is basically blind without her glasses, and we were leaving the country in 2 days so there was not enough time to get a replacement pair. I kept my eye on the little thief, which included him trying the glasses on and looking through them. After a few minutes of biting them, hitting them on the tree, etc he got bored and threw them on the ground from about 30 feet up. I snatched them up and miraculously they weren't broken. So my wife now wears glasses with monkey bites on the frames. Telephoto pic of the primate thief wearing her glasses:
  15. Your ability to weave in Seinfeld quotes to everyday, mundane conversations is really incredible. Or maybe I should say -- It's real, and it's spectacular.
