  1. It sounds Mexican, exotic. I'm biased because my sister married into the Estes family. A lot of them live in Florida so take that for what it's worth.
  2. Here’s a short story on why you can’t just hand a munition over without having or handing over the infrastructure to support it. https://www.militaryaerospace.com/communications/article/16723466/harris-weapon-data-link-for-small-diameter-bomb-increment-ii-receives-nsa-certification
  3. There are a lot of things that go into launching a tomahawk or a small diameter bomb, most of them in the background to either control them or to ensure your own defense doesn’t pick them off or thinking maybe they are something they aren’t. It’s all that background shit that keeps us from just handing things over willy nilly.
  4. He's talking about Plano. They can afford waste, and they don't have homeless people smuggling rump roasts out in their warmup pants like here in Austin.
  5. Ah ok. Thought you were specifically referencing HEB which confused me because they re-purpose most of their unused cuts I think.
  6. How does that work? You have to go ask at the meat counter or do they put the discount meat out somewhere?
  7. Reverse seared some bacon wrapped nilgai filets with pan fried Yukons and green beans. Crappy pics but it tasted delicious.
  8. You look at her from the back, it’s like a poodle sitting on a hippity-hop.
  9. In my buddy’s dads garage in south Texas. He’s selling it for like $13k. Probably would take $11k for it though.
  10. Here’s the back end of a really cool VW .
  11. Heavy rain and pea sized hail here just south of Slaughter and Westgate. Been raining hard for 30 minutes.
  12. Tell your wife to do some research about lead content in old china and how you’re not supposed to use it. Maybe then you can get rid of it.
  13. Sounds like a repeat of the Jaybird/Woodpecker war there in Richmond. There’s one they never taught us in school. Look it up sometime.
  14. There’s still the one in Richmond. I grew up eating at one in Wharton but it closed long ago l
  15. Man, the farts after eating that plus a heaping helping of chicken broccoli rice were epic.
  16. One of my favorite memories, I must have been like 4 or 5 years old, was meeting my grandparents for dinner at Felix in Houston. It too went away due to age and property taxes I guess. This is what it looked like at the time. We would also meet them at the chicken house sometimes, Bill Williams, which was awesome.
  17. We should open a restaurant in Westlake at that dead restaurant space, and call it Sweetbread. We’d make millions.
  18. Same with my daughter, she is a small person, it was apparently a painful ordeal for her and the baby both. Plus it was October 2020 so none of us could be there (covid). All my good thoughts are with your grandkid.
  19. Good luck, hoping she’ll be fine. My grandson was a month premature with a broken collarbone and other complications, he’s a healthy 2 year old now and the folks at the hospital were top notch.
