  1. Mervyn’s was another department store like that. We used to grocery shop at A&P in El Campo before they got a Stanley’s, then later an HEB. Only HEB is still standing.
  2. There is still one left, in Beaumont. Also, on Howard Johnson’s, few people know that Jacques Pepin got his start working for HoJo’s.
  3. This hits close to home. I have worked for Ultra Electronics for 25 years. Along with several other posters past and present.
  4. I'm thinking of trying a pecan pie AND eggnog milkshake.
  5. I think in some instances it can fluctuate up to 90, which is why you are supposed to have a pressure regulator on the line leading to your house.
  6. Other than spending yesterday morning in airports, been a good one. Hook'em horns today! View of Pike's Peak from my hotel room this morning - visiting my son.
  7. The El Campo DQ is being rebuilt. Whether it’s any good or not I have no idea.
  8. Left was up 35-0 in the first half. Supposedly "legal" refs took over, and we might end up losing 39-38 because rules only apply to the left.
  9. She probably thinks it’s what you cook wontons in.
  10. Yeah my wife, who is about as far from MAGA as you can get, bought into it for a while. Not just because of the news, but because for about a month our HEB did not have any custom-sliced deli turkey, just pre-packaged stuff.
  11. Never mind now I see the pic. Imgbb was being flaky. Nice amp, dude.
  12. I missed the original post, what year super? I have a 1959 but the power supply recently shit the bed and it isn’t working.
  13. This may not be a bad plan. Wreck Facebook and at the same time infect everyone with malware so they can't do anything on social media sites.
  14. Or glass bottoms for their Navy, so they can see their old Navy.
  15. He was speaking of the west as to direction - the guys in the west.
  16. The other thing is, there is a good road on the north shore of the peninsula that runs the length and intersects with some of the roads Russians are using to supply their troops on the left bank. If UK can get a couple hundred troops and equipment over there, set up some air defenses and push a bit east, they could easily knock off any traffic on the P57 highway and that one other road that runs north/south.
  17. You’re in Egypt, Texas? Be sure to drive through Spanish Camp on your way to Hungerford.
  18. I'll second Kleins - my buddy has taken his there a few times.
  19. You could try JohnnyGs down by my house. Or, if you want to do it yourself, I have the equipment, you just need to have the will. L
