  1. Built by MI homes. I’m sure it’s a builder grade offering. 😁
  2. All accounts returned between 12 and 15% - which is double our target, so it was a great year. We are boring investors - highly diversified and balanced. Our target is a 6-8% yearly return, based on our risk level. Wife retired this year at 45 and I’m on target to be done at 54.
  3. All accounts were 12 - 16% returns. Three years of this and I retire at 51.
  4. It’s been a great day. I got a new backpack for travel and some legos. Wife is happy with her new IPad and the kid is happy with his new desk chair. It’s been a good day. I cooked - fam came over. It’s our second Christmas without my FIL and he’s missed. He died Dec 18th last year. Last Christmas was just get through it. This one was great. My sister and her family join us and she has two younger kids - which my MIL adores. My 14 yr old son helping his 5 year old cousin build legos. She’s been his shadow since she could walk.
  5. Only middle age white, Christian men. This stupid country won’t vote for anything else right now.
  6. Just paid $40 a pound at HEB for Prime.
  7. We have the dancing robots and AI girl friends… when do we get West World and sex robots??
  8. Having gone through the same thing with my wife - it’s a damn good thing to hear she’s made it to the other side. [emoji122][emoji122]
  9. These Epstein files are fucking vile. Trump allegedly raped a girl, got her pregnant, was there for the delivery and for when the girls uncle killed the baby and disposed of it in Lake Michigan.
  10. That’s the one I have - the XL.
  11. Women’s Tennis won a natty in 2024.
  12. Right now - I’m WFH. My wife just retired, so she can be home with the kid for his schooling. I’d go back to the office for double my salary. We would hit my retirement goal that much faster.
  13. It really does depend on the job. The more isolated I am and the fewer people that can reach me, the better. I work off of an issues database (ticket system for lack of a better term). I rarely need to talk to the design team or the engineer team - not to mention a lot of the design team is over seas and only reachable by email or after hours (for me) teams message. Being in office is a massive disadvantage and distraction. I went in once to update my laptop to the lastest windows. I watched at least three different folks come into our area and have 30 minute conversations - mostly about anything other than work.
  14. Crockett Street was great in the early 2000’s when we would come to town for the SETX wake boarding tournament. Good times.
  15. Fuck working in an office. I can and have done my job remote all over the world. I have zero interest in spending any in person time with colleagues.
  16. Too many kids were taught govt / history by coaches that didn’t give two shits about either.
  17. After watching Tyson pull punches - why would people bet on Joshua??
  18. I’d take the doubled salary in an instant. I can do my job anywhere and if they wanted it done in an office - fine. I’ve hung Do Not Disturb signs on my cube back when I worked in an office. That plus head phones and people generally left me alone. And extra $100k saved and invested is $1.3M to $1.5M over 10 years. If you are able - you take the office job and have a legit opportunity to FIRE.
  19. Oil prices are already crashing. $55. Yay.
  20. I have the big Searwood and I’m really happy with it. Just like with all Weber products - it’s solid. Works great. The accorded are nice. It heats up quick for non-smoking days.

Through F1 Exprience - Paddock Passes - Legends Level. Basically gives you one full day in the actual paddock area (where the teams are located). The other two days are in the paddock hospitality. Some tracks have this available through the F1 Experience web site.

I’m on the wait list for the US GP in Austin. I’m still deciding if I want to spend that kind of money. I think it’s worth it once.
  23. Audi Revolut F1 Team will launch their car Jan 20th in Berlin.
