  1. That was a great sprint.
  2. Hi. This was me. The Democrats could have run ANYONE other than Clinton and I think they would have won. We had 40 years of a Bush / Clinton in higher place of Government. Trump was a hell no. The pot smoking mountain climber seemed like an OK choice.
  3. But he’s not totally stupid. I will bet $1 that one of his cases that he has filed will be that she wasn’t eligible to run and her votes should be thrown out. He slings all the shit he can on a wall and sees what sticks.
  4. It’s not good Tv, but it good internet. Each click for outrage click bait is $$$. Just look at all the links to Twitter from here. Trump and Vance can claim victory all they want, but Biden is in the White House with immunity.
  5. He told everyone he was before it got big. He said he had a shitty past and that’s why he was where he was.
  6. It will get pushed out through media. Also, it’s also reinforced talking points that those people can use on others. It keeps the energy and vibes going for a too long and stressful campaign.
  7. It was cold and the rain hit one day and the day of the race was hot. Dress in layers and bring a good poncho.
  8. If companies hate unions so much, there is a very easy way to get rid of them - invest more in your employees. Higher wages, decent insurance (until we can get universal) and some kind of profit sharing / bonuses for the employees and less so for the top brass.
  9. I agree about Friday. We were all three days, all day. However, we sat mainly straight and had the Velocity lounge to hide in when it got hot.
  10. Not sure how much they were when they were first released, but Costco had some not too long ago. Yes - general admission is the grass areas. Advice: wear very comfortable shoes for walking. You will walk a lot. I’ll leave parking advice to others - just bring your patience. If you go all three days - watch the cars from different spots - especially Friday. Wear sunscreen.
  11. He’s a Trump supporter. That’s his agenda.
  12. You’re not exactly the Democrats target audience - and like me (46, white, and live in the neighborhood where gov wheels went door knocking) - will not get much, if any effort at all.
  13. Sue happy Paxton and Gov wheels aren’t on the side of unions, so this could get messy quick here.
  14. How does this work in Texas? Texas is right to work. Don’t come to work - fired and replaced. Is crossing the picket line the only thing stopping the port from hiring new people at 35% over what they were paying? People are hungry, supposedly.
  15. Why are these people so fucking stupid and when you tell them they are wrong, they double down?? This image is floating around FB with the caption “FB keeps deleting this…”. No shit!!! It’s an AI image. Fucking morons.
  16. How can we help make this fail?
  17. On the sign front - I live in the suburb of Houston where Abbot went door knocking. There are three houses with Trump signs up that I’ve seen so far (main roads in and out and some side streets).
  18. Announcing it before the weekend would have been polite. Maybe letting him drive Austin. Hell, just making the announcement official after the race would have been better than what he got.
  19. Wow. What a shit send off. Not surprising for Red Bull.
  20. This John Deere thing is also Trump picking and choosing winners / losers. Almost all of the manufacturering for them and others is done out of country. CAT has maybe one or two foundries here. If Trump blanket raises tariffs - all machine costs will go up. None of them are American made. They are American assembled.
  21. It’s RedBull. They suck and have always been a shit team to drivers not named Vettle or Max.
