  1. I'll let you know, so far I'm in Week 2 and I'm hoping to have it before Easter. Their a bunch of gold ole boys in Georgia
  2. Dropped $248 at the Shop-Rite today, lets see when I have to go back this week, I suspect Friday or Saturday
  3. Me, Mrs nest2naus and the toddler n2ns I do the shopping as I work from home and I like to do it. I do two trips a week. I could probably get all the non perishable shit in one trip a week however we go through a lot of fresh fruit for the twins and other wasted baby foods (sometimes its a buffet of what they don't want to eat). I hit up the blue collar Shop-Rite for the basics and alternate with the Stop-n-Shop for some shit that the other store doesn't have. I get tactical with Trader Joes to change it up and saem goes with Uncle Giuseppe's, which is great for Italian, meats, fish, and really everything else except for baby stuff and cleaning supplies. I've been in the burbs for less than a year and overall I prefered the smaller grocery stores of NYC. I have discovered some good meat markets so thats nice.
  4. So I have my business (accounts) which is more than enough to keep me busy and this year I agreed to take on Eastern Canada until we integrate a company we are acquiring and backfill with this folks....fast forward to yesterday, we RIF'd a guy and now I have his accounts in NYC as well. This is a great opportunity for me to make money. Thankfully it's the offseason
  5. N2N ia pleased to announce that one of these will be delivered to his house next week... Lang 36 Patio Hybrid. Gonna order up some sticks and get it seasoned and ready for the holidays and summer, life.
  6. It's a blended rate that factors in State and City tax. It's brutal up here. That's basically my budget
  7. couldn't we have left this shit to the Eskimo Hut people?
  8. ah thanks JJ, I love to get this in the mail, this stuff is hard to find up here on Long Island
  9. please don't talk about how "most New Yorkers" dress unless you are expert on this subject
  10. Fette Sau is ok: I like, it's good enough Hill Country: also good enough, better than most others here but it's a B or B- in Texas Dallas BBQ is funny...because a certain demographic goes there for colored sugary beverages and not the food. I really don't go out for Q up here, I'm snob and anything I do will be better and more to my liking. I'm sure you can find a decent bagel in Texas but can you really?
  11. I was typing that with a toddler in my lap.mean to say it's awful and not worth crossing off
  12. NY: Mighty Quinns: It ain't awful but it's worth crossing off a list either
  13. go sit at the bar in Minetta Tavern and have a burger
  14. go down to Uncle Boons on Spring and east some Thai
  15. You are doing some upscale shit, how about casual and comfort food for the birthday? Emmy Squared for Detroit Pie?
  16. Say hello to Martha Stewart for me
