  1. "...Threw away those broken heroes, they're just wood and wires..."
  2. I agree, we (the State or Fed) can't keep every relic.
  3. I read this book, your conclusions were all wrong, Brisket. Da Cruz acted stupidly. I did read the book, entertaining fluff
  4. Request that she be sent to a disciplinary school and if not, you will press charges. Kids need chance to right their own boats, provide that opportunity.
  5. lived my first 12 years in Wisconsin, love me some Summer Sausage. broil the slices with a dollop of hot mango chutney. will change your life.
  6. sadly yes

  8. Eugene is and feels like a small town.

  16. I have lived in NY since '99 and will never move back to Texas. My wife's family is all here and everyone always toyed with the idea about Austin (since I came from there) but Texas is run like ass these days, too many Right Wing Christian Conservatives. Shitty infrastructure. I'd consider Colorado but otherwise I'm staying here.

  20. Exactly, a summer storm two years ago motivated me. Thing kicks on every Friday at noon for a few minutes and then its on standby till it's needed.
  21. very happy with my Whole House Generac setup. As early poster described, expensive and cushy.
  22. check this out, Austin based business no less... https://www.lovetalla.com/
  23. I would not hire a person for a Geo if they did not live in it, or had recently been living in it and have strong connections/history. Call me old, but Social Selling is not apples to apples to being in the patch, knowing the local customers and partners and having history. I have a bucket of named accounts in my Region ( some local, some in NYC, some in NJ) and cover some Geo based pickups because I get shit done, I'm hungry and my Mgmt trusts me to close new business for them vs the other reps. We promoted an ISR to a Territory Rep role (think Geo based) and they have been covering it from Cali but the idea was for them to move here and now they don't want to. I think they would be more successful long term if they were here.
