  1. What a weird thing to get worked up about. Par for the aggy course, I suppose.
  2. Went to Miller Outdoor theater last night for Classic Albums Live. This group plays, you guessed it, Classic Albums...cut for cut. They did the Beatles Sgt. Peppers last night. They were backed by the Houston Symphony. It was a fun chill night on the hill. I've NEVER seen it as packed as it was for their free summer series shows..Seats and Hill were 90% full. We were almost on the backside of the hill, lol Looked at their website and they're playing all over the country, different albums, Purple Rain, Back in Black, Dark Side of the Moon, Ziggy Stardust, Rumors
  3. We're into this. Rogen and Rose Byrne are good together. "To the future" (robot voice)

I don't think she was there..these girls were tiny, in all black waitress/hostess garb.

Not, sure but I got the feeling that it was family run. The hostess and my waitress were both cute

Went to Juarez on Tuesday. thanks for the rec, I would never have gone otherwise. Food was great along with the habanero salsa. Cheese enchiladas and their rice were both really good. It's not the type of place I would go on a whim, just based on the location (new strip center), their logo (very chain-ish) Funny, google maps took me to their old location down the street and I would've been perfectly ok eating in that old building, lol Good stuff though.
  7. I think most coaches operate mainly in the present and can't worry about what "might" happen with a disgruntled player. They're trying to win games now. If a FR can help win games now, by all means throw him out there. But I don't think coaches would play them, just to placate them. I'm not a coach and don't know shit, btw Win the job/win reps with your effort in practice and it should work out fine for everyone. Based on what I remember from the spring and looking at depth at certain positions, I think Baxter will get some carries. Cook will be in the rotation at WR On D I think Hill and Sydir Mitchell will be in the rotation at LB and DL respectively. Maybe Muhammad at CB?
  8. My wife and I were talking about G-town over the weekend and how we don't take enough advantage of it being so close. Even for day trips. Her best friends parents have a house near Jamaica (I think) that they never use. Like EVER. They don't even rent it out, I don't believe. It just sits there a block from the beach.

This is less than 5 miles from my office. Tuesday lunch...done. Went to lunch a couple weeks ago to the tex mex place I grew up going to (La Hacienda-Memorial). Still solid. Cheese enchiladas, rice/beans and fountain drink for about $12
  10. Shiiiiit....I was just there, you might have been sitting right in front of me. 😆 NM- I just re-read your post. First trip. Probably the best brisket I've ever had. Literally melt-in-your-mouth. Great pickles too
  11. We always called in 6-0-Chicks, because you know...a bunch of hot sorority girls
  12. I was a former condiment collector. Had a ziploc bag full of them in the fridge door. I've cured myself of that. Do y'alls wives know how ice machines work? Like, the arm/auto shutoff? Mine doesn't.
  13. It's really amazing the disconnect from reality Texags has. Aggy isn't in the same Universe as Texas when it comes to baseball...or really anything for that matter. In the history of forever, we have as many titles as they have appearances. 😆
  14. Yes...Logan's I have this exact memory from mid 90's 😆
  15. Growing up my sister and I would go visit PA family for a couple weeks every summer. We would go camping and go to both of those beaches. Coming from Texas and growing up going to Galveston...that water was so fucking cold. It blew my mind that nobody up there thought anything of it.
  16. So we each do our own laundry. I'd say once a month, I'll open the washer, and get punched in the face with the stench of mildewy sheets or towels
  17. When I was a kid, I had a t- shirt that said "I skied Mt. St. Helens 5/18/80" and had a bunch of fake "burned" holes in it.
  18. Another post about Street to Kitchen Went there over the weekend. Everything was great. Service was top notch. Spring Rolls Crispy whole Thai Fish Massaman Curry Pad Thai As someone who grew up over there...You have a very important decision to make....well it used to be important. You will either be a La Hacienda family like we were or you can be wrong and be a Los Rios family. I can't vouch for either these days, But in the 80's-early 90's La Hacienda was bomb.com
  19. I don't know who needs to hear this, but whoever is in charge of sizing mens polo's etc. WTF are you doing? As a pretty standard sized male human, I fully expect to be relegated to the kids section soon. Got a polo from work, it fits great. It's a fucking M. I haven't worn a Medium anything since middle school. Found a Large Adidas golf polo at Marshalls, it might as well have been a 3X. C'mon man.
  20. Well, the details you laid out in your OP (none) really kind of leave it up for interpretation. IMHO, a small white kid from a 3A high school, essentially re-writing the receiving record book at a program like Texas is pretty freakish. But you're right, I suppose, Shipley isn't a"freak" To be honest, most on your list, to me are just really great players. Freak should be reserved for maybe 5 guys on your list
  21. Same here. Always read his stuff...had no idea reposted here. I found out a few years ago that he was married to a friend of mines sister. Always thought that was kinda cool, he was a minor celebrity (in my eyes) here in Houston. RIP MAC
  22. Let's not get anything twisted, here Jimbo...TCU would've kicked the dog shit out of aggy. What a stupid fucking thing to say.
