  2. One of the board faves..
  3. We did this as dumb ass kids (around 12). We were playing the "invisible rope" game in my yard/street. Cop turns the corner and we all scatter. We lived on the next corner, as soon as he turned that corner, I tried to backtrack...he pulled diagonally up into the yard, got out and drew his gun on me. My dad, who was in the garage, comes out to see the commotion and his 12 year old son with his hands on an oak tree and a cop pointing his gun at him. Sure that was neat for him. But to answer your question...no it's not illegal....but yeah, a good way to get shot or at the least a good beatdown. Man, I hadn't thought about that story in 30 years. I didn't think much of it at the time or since, but realize how lucky I was.
  4. They can rename it as many times as they want and I;ll still call it what I always have: "OU" or TX/OU.
  5. A sidenote from all this will be the absolute ass kicking that will be handed down to both those schools come November. That clip should be on a loop in the facility

  8. Get her the plastic ones. She has tumblers and thankfully uses those most of the time
  9. Placing wine glasses at the very edge of whatever surface she is placing her drink. coffee table, outdoor patio table, dining table, kitchen counter. I follow her around like she's a 4 year old and move the glasses to a safe spot. without fail once a month or so, I'll hear a crash and a "god damnit!" Me:
  10. "Find the nearest Discount Tire, they'll air em up for free. You don't even have to get out of the car."
  11. Russell Gaskamp
  12. I don't think there are any restrictions...as long as you're on the roster. But yeah, it's obviously geared towards rookie/2nd year players and fringe guys trying to showcase. Saw a quote from Jabari and he said something to the effect of his rookie season wasn't perfect and he is taking the opportunity to work on things and get game reps. I like that attitude.
  13. Yeah, that's a dick move.
  14. Do you even Human Compost? https://www.cbsnews.com/news/human-composting-natural-burial-vs-cremation-or-embalming/ I'd be down with something like this..IF I don't do the "body farm" thing There is another service kind of thing where they put your ashes in with soil/tree and the family plants you/the tree somewhere. That's kind of cool too.

  21. Probably, the same guy, but he didn't like Gatlin;s that much either. Truth got his worst rating at 4.9 Blood Bros, Burns, Gatln's were all in the 6's Pit Room 8.9, Killen's 9.4
  22. The reason I ask....I follow this dude on IG. he goes to different cities and reviews places recommended to him by followers. He was in Houston and rated it at like a 9.5 out of 10..which was the best of all the BBQ places he went. Keep in mind he's just a dude. He's from NC (I think)so take his opinion on BBQ with a grain of salt.
  23. Came to post this. 30 minutes from Houston you're talking suburb city, which maybe she is fine with. If it were me and was still healthy and active, I'd pick central Texas 10 out of 10 times and I'm a born/raised Houstonian.
