  1. Get her the plastic ones. She has tumblers and thankfully uses those most of the time
  2. Placing wine glasses at the very edge of whatever surface she is placing her drink. coffee table, outdoor patio table, dining table, kitchen counter. I follow her around like she's a 4 year old and move the glasses to a safe spot. without fail once a month or so, I'll hear a crash and a "god damnit!" Me:
  3. "Find the nearest Discount Tire, they'll air em up for free. You don't even have to get out of the car."

  5. I don't think there are any restrictions...as long as you're on the roster. But yeah, it's obviously geared towards rookie/2nd year players and fringe guys trying to showcase. Saw a quote from Jabari and he said something to the effect of his rookie season wasn't perfect and he is taking the opportunity to work on things and get game reps. I like that attitude.
  6. Yeah, that's a dick move.
  7. Do you even Human Compost? https://www.cbsnews.com/news/human-composting-natural-burial-vs-cremation-or-embalming/ I'd be down with something like this..IF I don't do the "body farm" thing There is another service kind of thing where they put your ashes in with soil/tree and the family plants you/the tree somewhere. That's kind of cool too.

  9. Never been..I imagine it's pretty similar. Taos ski area is twice the size though. It's nice to have options..

  11. You'd be about 2 hours from Taos and Red River ski areas

  13. Summer of both 1999 and 2000, doing about 15 straight Widespread Panic shows across the western US. What a time to be alive
  14. Probably, the same guy, but he didn't like Gatlin;s that much either. Truth got his worst rating at 4.9 Blood Bros, Burns, Gatln's were all in the 6's Pit Room 8.9, Killen's 9.4
  15. The reason I ask....I follow this dude on IG. he goes to different cities and reviews places recommended to him by followers. He was in Houston and rated it at like a 9.5 out of 10..which was the best of all the BBQ places he went. Keep in mind he's just a dude. He's from NC (I think)so take his opinion on BBQ with a grain of salt.
  16. Came to post this. 30 minutes from Houston you're talking suburb city, which maybe she is fine with. If it were me and was still healthy and active, I'd pick central Texas 10 out of 10 times and I'm a born/raised Houstonian.
  17. Cross posted from the Houston sub board... Anyone been to Triple J's in Houston (Homestead Rd.)?

  20. I'm still surprised that grown folks don't know how to spot, or know what to do if you're caught in one. Remember that it doesn't pull you DOWN, so don't panic. Swim parallel to shoreline until you'r out of it You can even let it take you out until it dissipates, then go around it on your way back in
  21. Speaking of...I saw a commercial the other day for some ambulance chasers and he's on there giving a testimonial. Funny it didn't reference who he was , just his first name. "Morgan & Morgan got me x$ for my accident..." What a dips hit he turned out to be.
  22. Drove by this weekend and the line was down the sidewalk along Richmond and guys in the lot directing traffic. I'll wait a while before attempting to go.
  23. Started I am a Virgo the other day. It's fucking weird/funny...but pretty solid so far. "A coming-of-age joyride about Cootie, a 13-foot-tall black man, who escapes to experience the beauty and contradictions of the real world; he forms friendships, finds love, navigates awkward situations, and encounters his idol named The Hero."
