  1. As someone that worked briefly in the roofing biz, I'm surprised roofing hasn't come up more often in this thread. While I would hesitate a little to call it a scam profession, it's definitely sketchy. Very predatory, filled with aggressive, unethical canvasser/storm chaser dirtbags, and an industry rife with fraud.
  2. This is Hy. When we got him (left), he was roughly 1.5 He's 16 now. Still gets excited for food and walks, although the walks are a bit shorter these days.
  3. I know there at least a few other Strake Jesuit grads here that might be interested. They've quietly won 5 straight after starting out 1-2. 4-0 in District (1st). RB John Hebert (UH commit) is somehow continuing his dominance. He was #2 in the NATION last year in Rushing yards with 3,542 210 car, 2166 yds 10.3ypc, 270.3 yd/game 26 TD's.
  4. Now.....Imagine his name was Max Merrill.
  5. Hopefully nobody here took the bad beat with Indiana taking that ridiculous safety. I had Indiana -7.5, so a loss either way. Can't imagine having it at -6.5

I'm not sure how, but reading this thread has somehow recreated the real life experience of watching a show with my mother-in-law
  7. I assume you mean the female variety?

I loved it. Nothing really to add other than I love seeing shows with the "Philly"-ish accent. My dad's side of the family is from Chester County (Delco adjacent) and I hear their accents in the characters. It's crazy that there are so many brits taking on these roles. I guess all the actorrs from the area spend a lot of time trying to train the accent out of them. Also, the neice is fucking hot.
  9. I made it through. So did the wife. Ziiiiiing!
  10. I just got 3 on Saturday. Weeeeeeeee!!!
  11. Im not talking about the last folks boarding grabbing available space. I'm talking people that are in the first couple of boarding groups, entering an empty plane and stashing their bags in the front and walking back 30 rows to their seat and 30 empty overheads. It's especially annoying when we paid extra for EconomyPlus and don't have room for our bags.
  12. Flying is a pain in the dick as it is...but this seemingly new practice of rear plane dwellers stashing their bags in the front overhead bins has to stop. Has this always been a thing and I've never noticed? I've always put my bag above where I'm sitting? What am I missing....what is the advantage of doing this other than making some poor sap (me) swim upstream when the plane lands, while everyone else is clamoring to get off?

  15. This was a friend of mine's parents. Sad stuff. It was determined that the man had a brain tumor/cancer that caused him to act erratic, incompetent to stand trial. He died less than a year after killing his wife.
  16. Watched this last night. Insane. And agree with everything you spoliered too
