  1. I mean, if this isn't the biggest dumpster fire in Pro sports, I don't know what is. Has a team ever just torn it down completely? Without Watson to protect, what good is having Tunsil? I assume Watt is on his way somewhere out of respect? Trade anybody you think you can get something for. What does the 2022 draft look like?
  2. Boil House in Houston is our go to. They've already started, but we will probably hold off a few weeks.
  3. Feel free to insert your own perjorative or descriptor as you see fit.
  4. That's fucking gross. But pretty much what I would expect of any predominantly white, affluent suburb.
  5. It's a low risk move, but yeah...given his background, I'm not a fan of it. The allegations against him and his locker room meltdown indicate he's an immature knucklehead. This is an obvious move towards a complete teardown of this team. Gordon, Tucker and Oladipo will be gone by the deadline Cousins will probably be waived

    Gym Pet Peeves

The only thing that really bothers me is inconsiderate a holes. One I came across recently...guy using multiple benches/machines. and kind of just doing his own circuit training. Not only that he had a ton of fucking weight on the bench...and just left it when he was done. I want so say it was like 275. And his form was incredibly bad/dangerous So to you, mister circuit-trainer-in-a-crowded-gym-with-too-much-weight-and-your-poor-form...I hope you forever have back issues.
  7. Well Lamar is right off River Oaks Blvd. in the Upper Kirby district. Lots of wealthy kids go to Lamar. Or at least they used to in the 90's. I think a Houston equivalent(demographically at least) for Westlake would be Memorial. Obviously without the success.
  8. Harden is a bitch and half assed his way through the last 5 games...then throws his entire team under the bus. F him.
  9. Harden and Kyrie is gonna be a horror show. I can't wait to watch that shit...
  10. The narrative/insinuation of national media types that Charlie Strong wasn't given enough time is fucking infuriating. He was the worst coach IN THE HISTORY OF TEXAS FOOTBALL. He wasn't on the brink of being better or developing anyone. He was even worse in year 3 than he was in year 1. GTFOH
  11. Not on the bar, but in the freezer....2 mini shot bottles of Fireball Surprised nobody has mentioned Skrewball Peanut butter whiskey
  12. Titty Bingo, huh. Man I haven't seen one of those stickers in forever.
  13. A couple links to stories about Wood and Tate. Make you want to root for them a little more. https://theundefeated.com/features/the-staying-power-of-rockets-christian-wood/ https://www.dispatch.com/sports/20171104/ohio-state-mens-basketball--jaesean-tate-perseveres-after-moms-murder-when-he-was-8?template=ampart
  14. good info. The base salaries are below $35,568. More like between $25-$30K Folks in these positions counted on OT to get them a more livable wage..base salaries are low given that they are under the "sales"umbrella, so they can earn commission and bonus. Bonus/Commission and OT made up between 40-50% of their compensation. given the financial impact of Covid, not being able to make up any lost money via OT is a kick in the dick.
  15. I know we need him in the rotation and he can hit some shots and can get hot from time to time....but I really don't like Eric Gordon, lol When his shot isn't falling, he's awful. Watching him bitch and moan after EVERY SINGLE drive to the basket gets old. I do love the make=up of this team though.
  16. Sorry, just checking back in here. This is a regular "office" type job. Employees are salaried with a bonus/commission structure in place. OT was a big part of overall compensation OT pay has been the norm for as long as I've been there (almost 20 years). Anything over 40 was timed a half until December when that was changed.
  17. Any labor lawyers or general know-it-alls that could help? I'm sure it is (legal) otherwise I don't think the company would go this route...BUT In Texas, when it comes to OT, can an eligible employee be paid in "Comp time" as opposed to OT time and a half pay? Ex: Employee works 8 hours on a saturday, bringing his weekly hours worked to 48. Instead of making a little extra scratch for that, he's given Monday off on "Comp Time"
  18. Definitely hard to judge when end of the bench guys are getting large minutes. This team will look very different with Wall, Cousins, Gordon and McLemore available. Aside from Wood...I'm really liking David Nwaba.
  19. Touche The Iceman Cometh....slowly.
  20. Lol. I noticed this as well. What kind of assassin can't run?
  21. Watched Ava last night. Jessica Chastain, John Malkovich, Colin Farrell Chastain plays Ava..she's an assassin. Malkovich is her boss/mentor. Farrell is a former assassin turned boss/CEO of whatever Black Ops firm they work for. It was entertaining I guess. Nothing mind-blowing.
  22. Thinking about it a bit this morning. I like this team with or without Harden. Obviously, the health of Wall and Cousins is paramount Good mix of vets/youngs. I like the addition of Wood. I can't imagine EG having another year as bad as the one he just had.
