  1. Good morning and Hook 'em as the sun rises over the Organ Mountains, 47 fine degrees this morning heading to humidity free 75.
  2. One thing I've noticed in life, is that people with a lot of money like it, and usually want more
  3. With an impressive early win, it's the ideal start time for this HUGE recruiting week. Gives the staff lots of time to spend with them after the win
  4. yep, how did Herman neglect this side of the ball to this extent
  5. OK they accomplished the same thing via an alternative means. they created numbers and we didn't react or adjust

I love Sark. He's a great leader that will never throw his assistants under the bus
  7. I can't find a good video of that last play where I can freeze the pre snap set up. Perhaps you're correct, but the principle is the same., they created a numbers advantage by pulling and/or alignment that we never adjusted to

well what do you not believe is 100% accurate? the missed tackles is off the NFL site that has all the metrics

    Tackling

Saturday wasn't as much about tackling as it was about scheme. See my post in the PK thread. This was like going back in time to 1984 where Fred Akers outcoached Paterno/Sandusky with an unbalanced line. On the walk off run we didn't fucking touch him. last time I checked you needed to touch the fucking runner to miss the tackle
  10. This is for us old fuckers. Those of us who can remember Texas vs Penn St 1984, when Texas won 28-3. Texas won that game at Giant Stadium thanks to Fred Akers outcoaching Joe Paterno. Texas came out with an unbalance line that day. Where ou used three tight ends in this game, Akers employed three tackles outside the center to create an unbalanced line. Perhaps Sandusky was in the showers fucking an 11 year old, or perhaps he was just day dreaming of doing that after the game, but he never made the adjustment to get even numbers on the side we went unbalanced. PK similarly never made adjustments to even the numbers when ou went to 13 personnel. They outnumbered us each time they went to that formation and we never made adjustments to correct it. ou gained over 330 yards on 7 fucking plays. The counter with an unbalanced 13 personnel line dominated us and we never made the in game adjustments to stop it. It wasn't about tackling; on the walk off run we didn't touch the runner because we never adjusted to the numbers advantage they had on the left side of the line.
  11. I don't disagree, that we need a serious talent upgrade on D and the Oline. I hope my initial reaction post game was an emotional knee jerk. I hope he gets it together. BUT, what we don't know is how much of a symbiotic relationship PK and Jimmy Lake had. Neither seems to be thriving this year without the other, but it's only the first 6 games.
  12. Heard an incredible stat from the game. They had over 330 yards on 7 plays. They almost averaged 50 yards/play on those 7 plays and 4.4 yards/play for the rest of their plays.
  13. we only missed 12 tackles all game long. The frustrating thing with PK is he didn't adjust to 13 personnel. When they went unbalanced, we didn't adjust and were outnumbered. On the walk off run, he would have score had we been playing touch.
  14. Exactly, imagine how many points we'd put up if we could actually block. It's really incredible production with one of the most horrific lines in the country
  15. Newsflash - refs aren't going to be any better in the sec
  16. initially posted it on the wrong thread. glad i could give your little brain such a grand amusement
  17. so far all positive. great atmosphere, great rivalry, best game of all time
  18. aggie has made this game their season. win or lose it they shit the bed hereafter.
