  11. Nice.
  12. Dumb slide.
  13. Something about clearing your head driving as well, especially at night. Controlling the car is a big part of that while listening to tunes or the radio.
  14. Probably because drivers realize it's a robot driving, and thus could screw things up and plow right into you vs. a human driver, with self-preservation instincts, would back off.
  15. To quote the great IceCube - stay the fuck away from our territories: Ain't nothing to it but the floss Overcrowding Harrison-Ross 'Cause if you fuck with ours We leave scars
  16. Yeah, I get it. Shoot now or your neighbor will. Same issue with us for years. I finally leased it out to some good guys that have the resources to invest the time/money into significant feeding, food plots, and other things to help manage the "herd". They are also bow hunters, so there's less pressure on the rest of them. It's also a 4+ hr drive, so I can't get out there as often as I'd like. I'm good with the fact that they are growing big bucks and I get cool pictures - then I take my kids out late in the season and let them pop a doe or two for meat.
  17. Looks young(ish) to me. Thin beams obviously, but he doesn't have that pronounced Roman nose many of the older bucks get. I'd say 2.5 to 3-ish maybe?
  18. To this point, yes the US actually was invaded in WWII and the fighting on the islands was gruesome from all accounts. From what I read, they learned NEVER to turn with a Zero. Hellcat could out climb and out dive the Zero, and they learned how unprotected the planes were. What they gained in agility they gave up in armor and protection, especially the fuel tanks, which were not self-sealing as the American's were.
  19. Take ma' wifes name......outtcha mouth! Seriously, she tracks the boy on Life360 constantly. I usually text him to make good choices and not be a jack-wagon. So far, so good.
  20. Indiana will never give up the Aleutians.....
  21. yep, at the end of the day it's a big-as state school doing state school shit - pumping out kids with degrees and getting them integrated into the work force. I can get behind that. I can also hate them on Saturday's and laugh at their tears on Sunday. They're Michigan State and always will be.
  22. Was that way growing up with my small-town, W. Texas g-parents. Town had maybe a few dozen living in the city limits. You had to rely on your neighbors as there was no cavalry coming to save the day. I assume it's like that to some extent out there.
  23. I can say, could I have one wish for my junior kid looking at schools, if she had the chops and drive to do it - I'd push the A&M vet school over almost any other degree (small animal). They often make fuck you money. Our dogs vet (atm grad) is as fancy as most cash-only dermatology offices. I have a few friends in PE, and there is even a facet of the business that will offer some of these grads millions upon graduation or after just to get a part of their business. The price elasticity for what is a mostly cash business is crazy. Mama's doodle needs it's hip/shoulder fixed, here's a check.
  24. Didn't their enrollment size spike from thousands upon thousands of new engineering spots? Regardless of the school, it's a degree that has a much higher earning potential compared to many other degrees? All I can think of, them producing so many STEM kids that are making money right out of school.
