  1. Not so much shrewd as more relentlessly trying to beat you down again and again for the lowest possible price/rate/etc.. 100% correct about zero loyalty.
  2. Yes. It's still under the school of Liberal Arts. The "dismal science", it's essentially the philosophy and quantification of decision making. Supply/demand, all that fun stuff.
  3. My wife's cousin went the Econ route with that very scenario, then finished with a 5-year plan and a Masters in Finance. Now he's a finance bro in NY. There are always options.
  4. Hosted friends. I did the filets. Two are the right are pan-seared, butter, etc. Two on the upper left are the same but with a spicy chimichurri. Two bottles of Caymus 50th and a bottle of Prisoners later, it was a good night.
  5. .22lr pistol with rat-shot. Works wonders and it's not loud at all (pellet gun decibel levels)
  6. Over Texas Wesleyan? But i get your point
  7. We had a few of those glasses, no telling what happened to them. When I hit my BB-gun/fireworks stage I decimated what would be thousands of dollars worth of SW toys.
  8. Lol, wouldn't you
  9. Meh, they're all over Frisco, but whatever. They are forcing my daughter to step up her game to be in the top 10% of her class.
  10. They actually followed the books/comics for quite a while. That was the point that the story pivoted from zombies to the "real" predators, being people.
  11. Saw a video about disconnecting the battery, letting it sit for 30+ minutes and then reattaching everything - wonder if that is essentially doing that recalibration on it's own?
  12. Tundra bro's what the hell is my truck throwing as error codes and how do I fix besides languishing at the dealership? Pre-Collision System malfunction. Visit your dealer Trailer Brake Error
  13. You're right, the Ganges and Yamuna rivers in India are just great for taking a quit dip in
  14. Because they do such a bang up job with the resources that they have today
  15. I as in India many years back and got caught in a street riot/protest over water rights within India. Nothing too violent, but they were rocking the car, shouting, etc.
  16. All this over water.....sigh......
  17. Obligatory
  18. IN! I see the same diabolical psychopath Evans played in Gray Man and Knives Out - which I thought he did a great job portraying.
  19. And an utter inability to ever run out of rounds with endless Rambo magazines that magically replenish themselves.....
  20. We should sell College Station.....as a trial run
  21. Yeppers. What drove me to excessive drinking was QE making the same damn mistakes game after game. Maybe that's on the staff being too coddling. Maybe an NFL staff will fix that shit over the summer. I hope they do, as I have no animosity for the kid, I jut wanted to see repetitive mistakes improve.
  22. Pretty much. My son is easy. The wife/daughter had a magnitude of shit that I've been whittling down over the years. Hair dryer, curling irons, bag and bags of makeup. And endless stream of fucking shoes. We did get a smaller, more expensive hair dryer that they share. They can buy or share makeup....that was a concession so they get to shop when they get there. And if course hotels with the ability to do laundry is a must. We don't ski much anymore, but that was the absolute worst. At least we rented equipment, but fuck me it was a beating. Why do I need a dozen different outfits to sit and drink at the lodge!
