  1. Purdue having a bunch penalties/self inflicted wounds to help MSU get 6. It painful man, and I don't have a dog in this fight really.

    Florida Gators

Absolutely!! I'm a huge fan.. of hers. I know I could use this kind of support.
  3. Fuck you. You want to call that successful for CU fine. However, I might suggest waiting for the final outcome of this season before making that call.
  4. I had drank that memory away... it was gone. Forgotten.. Sigh
  5. You were suggesting we play Syracuse University from Syracuse NY in Jersey. Now it's for the Manhattan market... Okay..
  6. You know we had one with Rutgers right?
  7. Here's what I will say, were that the performance of a Texas head coach I'd be pissed. If you think one shitty season followed by a season in which there might MIGHT be a play off chance with a loss to UNL is successful we are simply arguing semantics. I would NOT see it as successful for Texas. You want to call that successful for CU fine. However, I might suggest waiting for the final outcome of this season before making that call.
  8. I've said i was wrong multiple times, that he exceeded my expectations and predictions. I didn't think he would win 7, much less content for the Big 12. If saying I was incorrect and badly off on my predictions is moving goal posts, fuck man, I don't know what you want me to say.
  9. Well, I haven't moved any goal posts and I owned I was incorrect about the success I anticipated he'd see this season. Yes he's exceded what was a very low bar set by the haters. He certainly exceeded my expectations. Telenovas are popular for a reason. Ask Jackson State.. they're familiar too. Otherwise, I'm not sure where else we disagree.. (edit - the rest of the season absolutely matters. Deion has matched the positive smack of the hater's negative. To go 7-5 and end the season and also ran does not match Deion's smack. So that's an area where we disagree. I don't anticipate that, but will own I'd love the drama it would bring to the Telenovela.) He hasn't succeeded in football for 2 seasons, he's succeeded in making CU a talking point. That's good for CU, and I've never said otherwise. Will it remain the case is what's to be determined. Edit - but you're absolutely right that Jimbo is an American hero.
  10. How did Deion do the prior two seasons? You do realize this season isn't finished and 7-2 doesn't indicate a coach is great. Moreso with the prior to seasons. Celebrate, enjoy, and feel free to mock, but don't be factually incorrect. The full data points don't say the "haters" were wrong just yet. Edit - Funny but I don't recall of your CU posts prior to the arrival of Deion. I wonder why.
  11. It's not killing me at all. I was incorrect and thus far Deion has been having a suprisingly good season. Note, I said Deion not CU. I hate CU. I'm entertained by Deion and his antics. I did not expect he'd do this well. I'm owning being incorrect. Not entirely sure why you felt compelled to call me out specifically but here I am. Like I was the only one cheering for a clown show. Which we've gotten. I said from the start I'm watching the Telenovela that is Deion Sanders. That hasn't changed even a little bit. If losses come it gets more entertaining. He keeps winning a different sort of entertaining. I still don't think he's there for the long haul.
  12. There are plenty of negative things to say about Chicago, but food choices ain't one of them, neither are cultural options (museum and such you Surly assholes). Most of the negatives typically attributed to Chicago certainly don't apply to Evanston aside from shitty traffic and weather. Pittsburgh is a truly underrated city. Miami has some amazing scenery that I can't even really afford to look at much less "entertain" and some great food. There ends the positives, imo.
  13. Go to SECrant? Or try: Wildcat Lair?? Edit: Oh shit.. this is from a mod on Wildcat Lair.. it's um... well... Deeeefense Moderator Moderator Sunday at 10:04 PM #7 Texas lost to UGA, beat Vandy by 3 and just beat Arkansas by 10. They are a very talented team for sure but I don't think they are quit the juggernaut that some make them out to be. Texas is just now starting to feel what it's like to play a brutal SEC schedule where every week it's a new challenge. Kentucky has the dogs to play with the Horns, they have proven that previously in games against OM and UGA, but what is unknown is what Kentucky team will show up. They had an off week, and then coasted to an easy win over a weak appointment this past week, allowing them to give a lot of guys rest. So benefitting from that I think this game could be interesting but ONLY if we come in prepared and play with good energy and confidence, and maybe a chip on their shoulder with something to prove. Also Texas maybe looking ahead to next week when they play a mutual hate fest affair against aTm.
  14. Can believe there were morons that picked them to win the ACC... Oh, wait... Nevermind... I mean.. Yeah, delete post ban user.
  15. You're the real asshole here. I didn't need to be brought back into this thread. Start a debate with @futuremanabout the future of tamale kind. It'll be super productive. Jackass!
  16. BBQ (Texas) 38 Bourbon (KY Jelly) 17 666 combined yards
  17. Can anyone explain the prevent victory defense? It consistently fucks teams. How can the stats not dictate "don't do that dumb shit". Over and over again. I appears GT may get away with it but it will always drive me insane.
  18. Holy shit this has been a great and wild ass game. Unexpected Thursday extreme entertainment
  19. Does your son hang out on Rainey Street and despise "drunk" people while loving Chilean Sea Bass?
  20. Will the tamale talk never end... fml
  21. Holy shit, what a small world. I was not a big fan of Stabbing Westward but enjoyed their music. Never got in a car with the band but they did steal my kidney one night at Black Cat Lounge. I mean, I was completely hammered so you can't really fault them.
  22. I largely agree in broad strokes but the devil, as always, is in the details. Aileen Wuoronos (I would have never gotten that spelling correct) comes to mind. Did she have some serious mental and drug issues? Absolutely. Did she suffer some absolutely horrible childhood trauma. Absolutely. It's a complicated case but just one example where the lines between someone with drug and mental health issues is extremely blurred with calculating serial killer. Granted, it's possible a lot of the guys she killed were not wonderful humans. Doesn't matter. That's a single example but Ed Gein is another. His upbringing rivals Aileen's, debatable that it's worse.
