  1. Agreed, but until confirmed hard to say it's equal or better than what Helm brought to the table.
  2. Arch will have a much better RB situation to start the year, likely equal or at least similar WRs, slight downgrade on OL and TE, and Sark will have a much bigger plays selection given Arch's scrambling and long ball. The defense will be likely at least equal and very possibly better. We're doomed.
  3. Do you get your college football news feed from IG? That might actually be worse than TikTok, which is no mean feat.
  4. Pfffft. 760 HP at 100k lbs 912 HP at 74k lbs Power to Weight is King and Deere wears the crown. I suppose you could pull your boat with that weak ass Big Bud.
  5. "Nutrition Supplements" are my best guess, perhaps "Old Army and US Military (approved) Nutrition Supplements".
  6. 1 appears to have a mustache, 2 is just unfuckable, 3 is a heavy drinker. This is all after 100% using filters. 3 would be drawn to me like white on rice so she's my 1.
  7. @Longboard Horn There will not be an official Surly tailgate at Kentucky, at least at this point there aren't any plans for one. @TxEx84 created this one to provide suggestions for the road trip and discuss potentially putting something together informally. Feel free to provide any suggestions or your thoughts/interest for game day festivities.
  8. First, nowhere did I say "of course they are going to be awesome". Florida went 8-5 last year and I think they will improve upon that record. I am pretty confident they will be 7-1 or 6-2 at worst before Georgia. They absolutely played way better when Lagway was healthy. I do find it absolutely understandable to question Napier. As for health injuries I recall a top ranked team who had health issues with an extremely good QB and huge RB health issues at the start of just last season that did okay. You are welcome to list your win loss selection for aggie in this aggie thread if you disagree with mine seeing that is the topic of this thread.
  9. He's also making more money than most of the potential haters be they media or fans ever will. Finally, there is more than a snowballs chance in hell he plays lights fucking out and lives up to all the hype. I think Arch is gonna be okay.
  10. I blanked in Yurick being at PSU. I think it was probably selective memory loss to help with my PTSD. Yeah, that and Franklin's proclivity to shit his pants at the first hint of trouble is problematic.
  11. Nerd alert... On of my Dungeons and Dragons characters was named Krull. Yuan-T Old God Warlock. I was not a child. 🤓😳
  12. Boy, you sho pick some pretty films. How can you neglect Deliverance from this list? That is a good year. Way of the Dragon, The Last House on the Left, Last Tango in Paris, Fritz the Cat, Silent Running, Solaris, Cabaret, and Fist of Fury (hell yes 2 Bruce Lee films) While I like all those I keep looking at the 1994 and 1999 lists and.. for the rest of my life..
  13. Well, lets look at their schedule. This is just off the cuff without any real depth. UTSA - W Utah State - W @ND - L Auburn - This isn't an easy call W/L MSU - W Florida- L (I think a big L) @Pig Arkansas loves to give this one away - W @LSU These are two bad teams. I'll give it to LSU cause @ - L but possible W @Missouri - I'm torn here - L South Carolina - W/L but I have a weird pro SC bias this coming year for some reason Samford - W @Texas - L 7-8 wins and 5-6 losses. I think Auburn, Missouri and SC are what determines the aggy season. I believe Texas, ND and Florida are pretty much locks for the L column. Pig and LSU are weird ones as they seem to be on similar levels. SC is better coached and has an actual QB who is good. Its aggie so they will probably win one they shouldn't on some weird shit and lose one they shouldn't. Or.. in more concise terms they'll find a way to 7-6 or...more likely 8-5
  14. Someone, sorry don't recall who, did a chatGBT mock up of one of his pieces. It was really similar, iirc, sans some specific detail editing that would have polished it off. But yeah, Graham from Auburn absolutely has the aggie rhythm, cadence and content formula tied down. Thing is, his writing doesn't bother me at all, despite being full on aggie. It's more jealous in a "why didn't I think of that" way.
  15. I floated out the following and I'll put it here for thought. I've previously found spaces in restaurants/bars for groups as part of a "tailgate" plan. Typically, less sports bar more local bar/restaurants tend to be more amenable to non-home team fans and affordable. In short, find a place we can all meet in the 11-2 range, eat some lunch, watch early games and have libations prior to heading to a actual tailgate closer to the stadium or wherever. I'm not at all tied to the idea, but have reached out to get an idea of price for space and potentially food. I'll report back cost here and gage interest from folks traveling in the thread.
  16. Fair, no offense take nor ill will perceived. One of us was wrong.
  17. Out side of But I'm a Cheerleader (haven't seen) I like everything on you list too for 1999. Mystery Men, Stuart Little, Ghost Dog: Way of the Samuri, The Minute Man, Big Daddy, Any Given Sunday, Analyze This, Ratcatcher, Romance (brutal), and Eyes Wide Shut (arguably good/bad but interesting either way) Yeah 1999 is damn strong. I like Bicentennial Man, maybe more than I should but I absolutely love Robin Williams in more serious roles like Insomnia, The Night Listener, Awakenings, Being Human, Good Will Hunting and my personal favorite The Fisher King. Then 1994 brings me right back with Legends of the Fall, Air Heads, Heavenly Creatures, Clear and Present Danger, Speed, Hoop Dreams (holy shit I forgot about that), Quiz Show, Crumb, The Lion King, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Ed Wood, The Client and Little Women.
  18. We talked about the Netflix series in the main aggie thread in football. Its pretty amusing. Waiting for them and Mississippi State to boycott Netflix. Oh wait, MSU isn't crying about only showing a loss on the series. Never mind.
  19. I looked at the weekend before. Titans play New England that Sunday in Nashville. Not really sure why you felt compelled to express a simple error that way, but you do you.
  20. Texas A&M fans, as with most college football fans, have about had it with the obeisance and hagiography of Arch Manning by the national media My dear Graham you are per chance apt to mislay your assemblage with aforesaid variegated verbosity.
  21. Kentucky is know for bourbon, horses and hillbilly hijinx which is two thirds of the fuel that drives Aussies. So, invariably.
  22. A man must have a code.
  23. And an error from the other page... Blue GRASS Parkway is a relatively short but fantastic longer way in from Louisville but an incredible drive. Since I'm on about cars, it is a hike from Lexington but the Corvette Museum is down in Bowling Green. You could hit it on the way from Nashville to Lexington if you choose to visit Nashville on the trip. If you want to make a longer trip out of it Nashville is about a 3 hr drive to Lexington. Unfortunately, Titans are playing away that Sunday. There will be far more flight options into Nashville. Since I'm on flight options Cincinnati is 2 hrs so its a 3rd option. All 3 will be scenic drives but Nashville and Cincinnati are largely Interstate to Lexington.
  24. Hah, doh! Indeed. I intended Blue Grass Parkway Sorry.
