  1. So does lime disease.
  2. He responded later I THINK after the SEC CG. Basically, iirc, "Missed it by that much" "Lots of great stuff for the future" "kept it close" "ran out of time" "Texas not really that good" pretty standard aggie food. He keeps them well fed, his grift is strong.
  3. "All the videos were just recording of Epstein doing his thing. He recorded them for himself. Nobody else is in any of the videos cause, of course, you'd turn off the recording when you had guests." Seriously... that's what's being sold. Well. The last sentence is me... but.. that's what's implied if nobody else is on them.
  4. Good call, Permethrin spray for socks, pants, shoes and shirts is also a fantastic add on in wet, hot work. (Note put it on night before, let it dry) Can be found at placed like academy, Walmart and REI
  5. "Wrong! We love the Ukraine. I'd just love to help them and put the resources in to rebuild. We just love building. It's great. We're talking about the best place to do it and I think they want to provide the location. That's gonna be fantastic, we love good locations."
  6. Minor fix. I have never been to Russia so my experience is based on Russian Nationals or immigrants I've met through my life and in my travels. In HS a couple of my friends immigrated with their mother. I never got the full details of their youth, not even sure they knew their whole story but their outlook would mirror a lot of other Russians I ended up meeting. That long ass preface to say, while you might find hope in parts and pieces there always seemed to be an underlying bleakness to everyone of them I knew with depth. It wasn't out front in their personality but the more you go to know them the more it tended to surface. A sort of a "fuck it" rebel without a cause sort of view. That's the only thing I can add to mindset and I fully acknowledge its certainly not an in depth or vastly knowledgeable one.
  7. Well, one is Spanish, one is Murican. One has "more" Penelope, and doesn't have the Murican' stupid splainin' going on. I know which of the 3, including Open Your Eyes, I like most, but I'm gonna shut my keystrokes and stop completely derailing this thread.
  8. It's a different thread but a discussion of Open Your Eyes, Vanilla Sky and Eyes Wide Shut would be an interesting one. I think there are interesting parts and those 3 compare well, but others might just think my take stupid. For the record, of them, Open Your Eyes is far and away the best film, imo. I don't think Eyes Wide Shut was a bad film... rather had issues. I think Kurosawa could be on that list potentially. Anyway, I didn't find Oppenheimer to be a terrible film just overly focused on the psychological aspects rather than the leaning into the insane story around the facts and reality of the development. It's an insane story the depths of which should have been the focus but weren't.
  9. I love voidzilla/coffeezilla for his exposure of all sorts of scammers particularly bitcoin conartist. His summation below expresses essentially exactly how I feel about the topic.
  10. It is a show that certainly isn't going to be everyone's cup of tea. It's an odd mix of genres but I found it very entertaining and enjoyable.
  11. I'm doing the best to read the tea leaves but our POTUS has historically always liked to back whatever he perceives as a winner. Now to define his meaning of winner is beyond tricky. That said between his desire to be on the "winning team", recent events noted in that article and some folks on his own team pushing for it... well I would move it past wish casting. I'll never claim to be able to predict his moves though. However, if he goes against it now, history may end up writing him in as backing a loser. (I dont think he cares that it's an evil tyrant) That's potentially very bad for his legacy which is the only thing he cares deeply for beyond money and power.
  12. Trump criticizes Putin after approving more weapons for Ukraine - Reuters Link "We get a lot of bullshit thrown at us by Putin ... He's very nice all the time, but it turns out to be meaningless," Trump said 🙄 The bill, whose lead sponsors are Republican Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and Democratic Senator Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut, would also punish other countries that trade with Moscow, imposing 500% tariffs on nations that buy Russian oil, gas, uranium and other exports. If these two are agreeing upon it, perhaps some others should listen.
  13. I'm responding to you but in a broader stroke others as well. Based on my recent experience with the horrible flooding in Eastern Kentucky and Western North Carolina, and broader experience, this process takes time. In about a week or 2, when the news cycles have diminished and attention has dropped off is when more needs will arrise. I don't claim to know exactly what those will be. Sometimes is trash pick up or driving people around, some times just psychological help, sometimes it's chain saws and hauling gear. It varies greatly, but the need is there. @West Kerr Horn noted it briefly but this will take longer than the news cycle will bring attention. Typically, that's when help is needed the most. I'd plug into on of the churches or find a contact out that way and stay tuned in for updates in the near future. That's when you will likely be of the most help. That, of course, can always change, needs might arrise sooner, but typically it is a week or 2 after the event, when most people have moved on that the greatest need for help occur.
  14. That's not what I was talking about. Explaining it you is a waste of time and key stokes. You've always made it clear in every thread that anyone who disagrees with your opinion is factually wrong despite opinions being subjective. You're not in these threads to discuss opinions nor your thoughts on movies, you come in here to tell people why they're stupid and have bad opinions. It's super cool and productive.
  15. Is there a new kink feature in sex bots that aggie has created? I mean.. it tracks but... it's news to me.
  16. Ehhh... I agree it's definitely niche knowledge/conspiracy but I think its a bit broader than you're painting it out to be. For me it ties into the Smiley Face Murder conspiracy which, while niche, is not a small niche. I am very hesitant to go to downtown Austin. Mostly cause its a 14 hour drive for me and I'm too old. Smiley Face Wiki For the record I met @Nicole44 once near a body of water where alcohol was involved and lived to tell tail. Though I did find her parting comment to me a bit disconcerting. "You seem like a nice guy, if a little old, short and fat, but in a pinch... Nice to me you!"
  17. So, prior to watching Oppenheimer you were completely unaware that Nuclear War was bad? That tracks.
  18. I enjoyed Oppenheimer, but there was just way too much "Nuclear was is bad, mmmhhmmkay." The Prestige was a little too proud of itself. Momento was fantastic as was thr Dark Knight. Dunkirk was good but felt a little heavy handed to me but I still enjoyed it. I liked Inception as it was an interesting idea, but it wasn't a great film. I truly enjoy Nolan's work in the broad strokes. He has a fun interesting approach to film in all aspects but he does lean a little heavy towards people are really stupid. Sadly.. while it diminishes some of his films, he's not wrong.
  19. Yeah, running time aside it was a shit show of shitty exposition. I noted in my original post the friend and daughter were the fucking highlights of the episode. Every time Syd opened her pie hole I wanted to fast forward, so much so that at one point I fucking did. The only "new" insight we got was her friend looks great in her fit, the daughter is a good actress, and her friend does her extensions. Also, Syd prefers to shop at Whole Foods in Old Town Chicago. (Well, I picked that part up) Riveting.
  20. AND Priyanka Chopra Jonas in a lot of tight fitting clothes... but who likes that sort of thing.
  21. Not nearly as serious as taking silly movies seriously.
  22. I just want to clarify Worm was NOT a side journey. It was an entire episode of exposition about her choices. 45 minutes of what I view as poorly written exposition. It was not a side journey. Enjoyment is subjective and if you enjoy 45 minutes of poorly written exposition, fair, but it wasn't a side journey and brought no new development to her character arc unless you want to say "we learned she's pretty good with kids", and/or "The actress playing her really sucks at writing metaphore".
  23. Some people enjoy that occasionally Which part of some was unclear in my original post?
  24. Hope you already aligned your boy wonder. @Js1 is spoken for, btw.
