  1. Why do you hate Ed Wood? Ive not seem this film, so can't compare but I did watch Alone in the Dark. So I will raise your bet. I'm a Slater junkie and will watch pretty much anything he is in. I enjoy some horror and I'm a game nerd to a degree. Texas was on its way to winning a national championship, I'd just gotten a big promotion, and this seemed right in my wheel house. It. WAS. NOT. 2. We could recruit the racist who are starting "colonies" and tell them we are giving them their own planet.
  3. What you did there, I seent it.
  4. Epstein employed "hosts" for his guests on his properties. Chefs, waiters, hostest, etc etc. were all legally employed by Epstein. At the surface it is 100% legal. Trump claimed in that video above: "...he stole people that worked for me." Implying that employees that worked for Trump were stolen by Epstein. He doesn't clarify who they were, I just used the young female as a hypothetical example to dispute your point that they wouldn't fight over an employee. They absolutely would. Of course Trump is not going to be specific about the employee(s). Frankly, I don't believe a word of it anyways. He's generating a story to explain why they stopped talking.
  5. I'm not about to defend Trump or his story as being true. However, in a hypothetical you have 2 absolute ego maniacs that that, I think most would agree, view women as property. If Trump had a favorite "piece of property" at MarALago and an egomaniacal "competitor" "stole" that property, I can absolutely see it causing rift. Again, I'm not supporting the truth or accuracy of the story, but to say those two wouldn't fight over such a "possession" is to misunderstand their mindset.
  6. Trump sets deadline of 10 or 12 days for Russia on war with Ukraine - Reuters Link
  7. I am Jack's quickly growing group source ban.
  8. Colorado fans in broad strokes are insufferable. Not in an aggie/pig/tiegaw sort of way, more USC fan sort of way.
  9. For sure, it isn't pure fiction. Rankings will rise and fall based not only for who a recruit commits to but who is interested. Yes, part of that is a coaching staff's historical ability to develop talent, but in my admittedly incomplete knowledge it's more about evaluating talent. I'm certain I don’t need to address that reality regarding FUPM, particularly as it relates to QB. FUPM had amazing skills of not only underdeveloping recruits but towards the end he was mailing in the evaluations too.
  10. ..and his name was Albert Einstein!
  11. This is Surly, semantic arguments are part and parcel of the foundations upon which we exist. The more nuanced and trivial the more critical. Don't tell me what to do!!!
  12. Well, I sadly expect that as a given.
  13. Missed this informative and in depth perspective. However, its clear he hasn't consulted with the space lizards and as such, he's missing a huge part of the picture. This is really just all a smoke screen to keep we informed from focusing on exposing the flat earth reality. Did you know that Bigfoot is real, but not what people think. They actually serve as the Men In Black in remote locations where seeing the flat reality of earth is far more likely. They disappear people who find the ice walls.
  14. Right! We have to think of the children!
  15. Dude in purple couldn't be bothered to put down his cigar and kept approaching the line of fire. I'm glad they stopped this guy, truly, but nuance matters. Maybe your cigar should be prioritized behind the ability to use your other hand when approaching at guy with a knife. It's one thing to bring a knife to a gun fight, its another to get in the middle of one... with a cigar.
  16. I'm sure somewhere in her social media bio she will note the University for which she works. Her sociological history work is top notch and I'm sure she's well published too. I'm quite curious about her work justifying NAMBLA against Greek Society's normative behavior. We all know, if it happened in the past, norms at the current time were different and made the behavior completely acceptable even in modern normative morals. I don't recall anyone taking issue with pedophilia in the 1990s. Right?
  17. Just checking. It is Surly and well...
  18. Agree with almost all of this. Late night like Johnny, Letterman etc were build on a foundation of 3 items. 1) Endorsement of upcoming movies via interviews 2) Various Skits by the host. 3) Guest appearances which were 95% comprised of comics and musicians. Yes, there were rare occasions where the Animal person or others would come on but mostly it was bands or comics being promoted. Today #1 is so grossly over covered by social media, main stream media and other that it has become completely superfluous. People would watch to "get to know" the actors and then see a trailer of the upcoming film. People all have a "direct relationship" with their favorite stars these days via social media and have almost always already seen a trailer long before they appear on a late night talk show. Nothing new is occurring unless it is olds (over 60) who don't really use social media. On Skits and stand up comedians/bands or #2 and #3 there are truly endless skit type and music promotion options on YouTube, social media, streaming services and main stream. I find far more new comedic and music acts through my carefully curated and extremely limited social media. I pretty much only like and follow artist, musicians and comedians. If they go to extensive political post I unfollow them. Not that I object to them having a political stance at all, I'm just not interested in theirs. I'm only interested in their art. On top of all that, someone noted it upstream that if you want the highlights of Colbert you can get them on social media/YouTube without having to sit through all the filler, so why tune in? The point of all that is at this point there is zero need or value of late night talk shows in today's digital media environment for 95% of the population. More unique shows like Comedians in Cars, John Mulaney Presents and My Next Guest fills a niche of getting to know celebrities in a seamingly more genuine less promotional method. They have a bit of skit but not a ton. Net is there are SO many different sources to get the 3 components of late night that it's time has passed. It's over. Go home.
  19. Is this sarcasm? Cause, the exact opposite is the reality.
  20. Real technology oligarchs have fuck all to do with Cypto aside from maybe quietly profiting off snipes or rug pulls. Maybe Johnny come lately wanna be tech bros. No clue what tie you're trying to create between them and Putin. Russia specializes in Ransomwear, not that they don't dabble in Crypto too, but North Korea and China are kings with US not far behind. I think Ukraine actually surpasses Russia in Crypto fraud or they did at one point.
  21. I dunno man, a Punk band ala The Dead Milkmen named Bullshit Barrage with a first album titled Shit Sammich and a track called Shadeur Magic has some real legs.
  22. Someone should send Steve-O the Surly - Quinn thread. That'll keep him busy for a while.
  23. For obscenely illogical and stupidly ridiculous reasons I have a negative feeling about Kruel.
