  1. I throw Yannick Noah as a possible torch bearer. For the record he's someone that just comes to mind as a well known French athlete with a big following. I loved his tennis play too.
  2. Say what you will about my people, they are not prudes and never lack emotional investment in their endeavors.
  3. Holy shit they Brits are actually smiling! Who was passing them the mdma?
  4. Yeah, I think in a very niche play it has value. During deer season running a rotation of 308, 243, 30-30, perhaps some 5.56 and 1 or 2 others 300 blk out?, with a Barnes bullet and quality powder and casing? 24/7 You could make a hefty margin. It would be niche and cyclical but very profitable in those specific environments. Environments, which, aren't exactly inviting to outside rogue actors.
  5. We're discussing this issue in a Daily Texan thread.
  6. Okay okay, I get it, the French aren't always white flag waving surrender monkeys, but the will protest anything at the drop of a hat. In fact, they would probably protest because someone dropped a hat or god forbid a raspberry beret. Going back to the attacks, I'm confident a lot of state actors have plants in the more well known current protest groups. That said, leaving a vehicle behind, if it can't be tracked (which maybe it is, we wouldn't know at this stage) is certainly a higher level state actor type move. I wouldn't be surprised if early on, it is linked to one of those groups, by design. Lots more discovery is to come on that front. I just truly hope there isn't a big or catastrophic event. So far, the efforts appear to have been sniffed out prior to any successful occurrences.
  7. You can always tell the amateur Brazilian Steak House folks from the veterans by how frequently the individual passes on food from the early meat offerings.
  8. Oh, I don't disagree with any of what your saying. The Russians, like some other countries, love to use puppets for their disruptions for sure. It's France, though, and those white flag waving surrender monkeys will protest for any reason. "Via la free chicken nuggets, from free range French chickens!!!!" I just think there is a state level brain behind the activity. I'm not willing to predict which as there are a lot who are motivated to create disruption, just because.
  9. There could potentially be a nerd thread in the video tech, distribution and capture methodology for the Olympics. It's often where the future of other sports tech is tested. AI dynamic replay - Alibaba Some cool Olympics camera history Deeper nerd dive on Olympic cameras AV Nerding Sony and the Olympics
  10. I won't call it Russia nor Iran (nor exclude them) but it appears mutli-layered and well organized. That's typical of a state agent more than an independent group of "protestors" typically.
  11. I'm not in anyway diminishing the pegging Chip provided UCLA, but I do have to note that there are other yellow toothed coaches out there than achieved not dissimilar levels of pegging on other universities before "retiring" back to whence they came.
  12. Good news is there are no shenanigans around longer sentences or higher per capita inmate incarnation cost on keeping these labor forces in prison for profit. 2020 info on private prison shenanigans So our food cost are going up at restaurants due to "higher wage costs". The prisoners are treated worse in the private prisons. They food suppliers are reducing their cost for supplies of the manufacture of largely extremely unhealthy food. This helps our population get their fat and sugar fixes burdening the health care system. These prisons cost the tax payer more than state run prisons. Finally, we are clearly winning the war on Drugs and the billions of dollars on the enforcement side of this puzzle can help make the tax payers feel super safe because they have APCs, high end tech equipment for spying on evil criminals and AR15s. Profit!!!!! Not seeing the issue on this one.
  13. So you're saying the aren't a predatory cult like affiliation with different predilections than PedoState?
  14. Look, I'll call it like I see it. There are a lot more "honorable" posters here that have aspirations to be surrounded by their wife and children during their dying days. And I applaud them for that aspect of their wants in life. I'm not like them. If at 80+ I pass with a legit 10 prostitute at the Waldorf in Vegas while pumped up on coke and Viagra... it was a damn good run, because that means at 80+ I still had enough money, energy and drive book and take the flight, pay for the Waldorf, find and finance a top quality sex worker, acquire some quality cocaine and indulge. I'm not supporting nor condoning sex work, drug use nor Vegas... I'm just sayin'.
  15. The All Blacks do NOT suck at Rugby.
  16. Not sure how or if it should be included by a breakdown of schools competing vs potential NIL issues with others already committed would be an interesting barometer on a glance. In case that's clear as mud. John Holmes Port A Cholas HS Tight End 6' and 10" *Please Grove Leader: aggie (1 likely NIL commit) Others: 2) LSU (8 likely NIL commits) 3) Texas (20 likely NIL commits) 4) Alabama (12 likely NIL commits) 5) Oregon (46 likely NIL commits)
  17. Umm.. a lot of Babtist in Waco would like a word with you.
  18. Looking at the UCLA away schedule, which ain't great, my choices would be: 1) Hawaii (I don't think an explanation is required) 2) Baton Rouge (food, music, rowdy) 3) Rutgers (good variety of things to tag onto football nearby) 4) Nope
  19. Having spent a decent to substantial amount of time in all those cities/states save Eugene, Bloomington would be my first choice if Oregon was off the table.
  20. I'm just gonna chime in here and make it clear, I don't really give a shit if they are in cells next to one another or not. As long as they are all in a cell. To be clear, cell= jail cell (not terrorist/anti-american cell) and then hopefully prison cell for a short period. Not because I want to further overcrowd our prisons. I just want them to know what real oppression feels like for a bit and understand there are repercussions to your actions. Seems both concepts are fucking lost on too many here in the US.
  21. I had a friend who was born and raised in Stillwater, total Cowpoke family, text me joking about Boone bribing the refs after the game. When a diehard opposing fan openly admits a clear bias... well..
