  1. To be clear, I'm on your team and hope you're right. If Florida can get even a medicore pass rush and run stop, they probably win in a battle of field goals 9-6.
  2. Hmmm I dunno Florida and Auburn are in that mix. While it's certainly possible, I think easily is a bit of a stretch.
  3. Race card will absolutely be in the bingo selection. My thinking is he leaving to "protect his family from racism and unfair yada". So we agree there As for time frame, the ebb and flow will absolutely depend on winning. The moment it tips, maybe as soon as this weekend, and it's clear the media is calling him on his bullshit, the finger pointing begins. It will be laced with promotional propaganda about how great Shaduer is playing. All the while he's working with agents for his sons and his next con-game victim. I hate this reality, but I keep thinking it will be Jerrah.
  4. I'm sure the Buffaloes agree with you. Deion will ask why your calling him Deion and not focused on his child's terrible music.
  5. There are 4 games I'm very interested aside in from UTSA v Texas because of my disdain and curiosity. 1) Memphis at FSU I picked Memphis to make the playoffs. I've seen FSU play. I won't say it's a high level of confidence but Memphis can definitely win this game. 2) ND @ Purdue This is a match up of 2 bad teams. How bad is ND? I know they are bad. I hope they are absolutely shitty and this game will truly let me know the depths. 3) aggie @ Florida I shouldn't need to explain why a second game of shit football teams is on my list. I'm hoping for a close game that Florida wins late. It helps aggie prop of their delusions and increases delicious tear count. 4)CU @ CSU One was a Texas opponent. One is a dumpster from which fumes of gas are flowing like a river. With CSU bring a lighter to the party? I hope so. Bama @ Wisky is going to give me better insight. SC @ Swamp thing will too. It's isn't a great weekend for big match ups but God damn there is a lot of joy to possibly be had if enough things swing the right way. Also going to get a much better feel for what the season and conferences might really be.
  6. Well, that's reasonable and I don't know enough UW fans to speak intelligently to the fan attitudes. In broader aspects, historical football success is not even close similar between UM and Washington as between UT and UM. As for cool cities, while subjective I think that's also reasonable. Other wise everything you said can help said for UM. So.. I see why you hold that position.
  7. Just a little echo of your sentiments. I've been to the Big House as a tshirt meatchicken fan multiple times when I lived in Chicago. Crowd is a lot better than they get credit for. Not insane levels, but I think it's on part with Texas home field. As for Michigan fans before/during/after games, I have to say the pre-rose bowl match up was just a pleasure. I'll be careful here so as not to sound like aggie fan fiction but there were way, way more discussions about the history of the teams, the great match ups and generally a love of college football than shit talk. Even the shit talk was very subdued levels of "Your teams going down tonight! GO Blue!". Yes, that's on the road at a neutral site, and unfortunately I missed this game. In short, if I was forced to pick a University most similar to Texas fans regarding behavior, knowledge and general attitudes about games and their University, Michigan is the one. Based on my personal experience and opinion no other school is close. Wisky is a lot of fun and may have the best tailgating scene for consistency of food quality as well as open attitude to opposing fans. That’s the only other I might include, but it's a different beast.
  8. Vandy and Texas giving a cheers over a cocktail would have been hilarious, but they shit on Michigan A LOT so... I can appreciate the subtle nod to the Dores just quietly enjoying themselves.
  9. The entire Genesis and evolution of this thread is very interesting. I actually hope it gets archived at some point as there are some genuinely intriguing social and football aspects of posters here and perception broadly regarding Deion and more. It sort of falls into 2 camps, those defending Deion for a variety of reasons and those that have consistently shit on him. I'm of the latter group, but wasn't posting much when he first took the Jackson State job. What occurred there follows suit in off ways with what is happening now with different specifics. The future of his sons and his success (or lack thereof) are what will play out in the next 12 months. One side of the coin is going to look pretty foolish, the other not so much.
  10. Texas 66 UTSA 3 Because this is my only chance this year to call that score realistically. (Sorry little amigo school down in SA) 278/153/46 Sark let's Ewers fling until late in the 3rd at least. This is a Heisman building game and Sark knows the value for Texas and Quinn. Arch getting meaningful passes. I think there is a WR pass thrown testing shenanigans for later games. My Pic 6 in the 3rd is fucking happening this week!! We are due!
  11. Rose Bowl same thing. I'm sure there are fights in college but they seem far more rare to me. Even Texas v ousux most of the shenanigans tend to happen the night before or night after the game. I can only think of maybe 3 fights in the decades I've been to that game that happened on the fair and I'm pretty sure some were Dallas folks local to the fair. *and I'm absolutely certain none were me in HS. For the record.
  12. Sand Volley Ball and Surfing... women's.... I'll take your $9.95 through venmo, PayPal, or Cash app, but please don't forget to the like button and share with your friends.
  13. I would absolutely love to find out he's someone's "beard" from here that is just pulling a long game aggie troll.
  14. Agreed on plan vs execution and while I only mentioned Ewers great play the entire team was executing the great plan perfectly. So in this case, both occurred which is madly encouraging and if it continues... well.. we will have a pretty good season. But getting back on point.. aggies execution against McNeese was fantastic. McNeese is a real threat to win some games in the MAC conference which we all know is second only to the SEC SEC SEC
  15. Yeah, I think some here have definitely lost sight of the reality that while UM no doubt has issues, Texas is just that fucking good. That game plan was the best in Sarks tenure and Ewers has never played better. Texas is an extremely good team. Michigan is not, but they're not ND, CU, aggie, FSU, Florida levels of bad.
  16. You should start a thread. It's a legit concern. I was thinking about that and the lack of field goals. This is terrible coaching on Sarks part. We really need to do score fewer TDs, get fewer first downs and work on our special teams. It's a 3rd of the game for God's sake.
  17. Yeah, it's fan fiction and I'm biased but I think gig'em Gazette Presents: This Week in aggieland is a lot more realistic and seems to have much better sources.
  18. You clearly haven't watched CU, aggie, or ND play.
  19. I'm absolutely certain it's a ton of bus action worthy of some weird fetish porn.
  20. Have you followed the Cowboys at all since Jerrah owned them. Two words. Barry Switzer
  21. He could have possibly tucked and run, checked down (best call) or tossed it out of bounds. All were way better options and he took a sack instead. That's NOT great or arguably good college QB play. The other shit pass on this page is more evidence and there are many other examples. Yet some still claim he's amazing. We're looking at the world through different lenses.
  22. Which is why he'll most likely end up in Dallas or one of the other cluster fuck franchises. It's not impossible he is a "trainer" wherever Shaduer ends up.
  23. I find it amusing that everyone keeps focusing on the CU shitty offensive line, they're not wrong, but the D line is equally bad.
  24. Deion will paint himself as a victim of racism, bad officiating or any myriad of other finger pointing. Start creating the narrative as the season heads downhill, being sure to throw his assistant coaches and players under the bus in the process. Deion has zero plans to remain in the college game. He'll find an opportunity as a position coach in the NFL and I'm sure he's already working on it. Likely at Dallas and putting a bug in the ear of the coaches there as well as Jerrah. Working to get his son drafted and hopefully continue epic level helicopter parenting into the NFL. He'll move on from CU at the end of the season, post draft and I'd be suprised if he doesn't end up at the same NFL franchise as one of his sons. Because the news cycle forgets quickly by this time next year CU will have a new coach, worse issues without those skill players and the world will move on from the story, CU and Deion... until they turn their focus to the NFL team Deion went to...
  25. Well, it's my god damn horse isn't. I'll do as I please jack ass, but I won't be taking dictates on what that will be from you.
