  1. My dumb ass post didn't hate on Quinn nor love on Quinn. He wasn't great but was very good. My last points were: Was his performance one for the haters to gloat. Nope. Was it one for the lovers to gloat. Nope. Again the majority of the issues with the offense were with the head coach last night. Not Quinn, but it wasn't a great performance, our D had to close the game. It wasn't our offense that did.
  2. Well, I for one take everything super serious and none of my posts are tongue in bung. I'm also never regarded and I've never been errant nor wrong in a single post ever. I'm an A+ poster who rights with sincere regards and never grammatical errors. Fucking aces.
  3. Fair, redacted that point.
  4. Was it good enough to win, yes, was it better than the previous performances, yes. However, Clemson isn't a good D. They just aren't. Quinn has done well all season against bad to not great Ds. Was his performance one for the haters to gloat. Nope. Was it one for the lovers to gloat. Nope. Was it good enough to win. Yep. Good enough to win isn't an A. B Again the majority of the issues with the offense were with the head coach last night. Not Quinn, but it wasn't a great performance, our D had to close the game. It wasn't our offense that did.
  5. Clemson D hasn't stopped a decent run game all year and their secondary is questionable at best. Their redzone D has been horrible all year and their DC is a fucking idiot that even Billy fucking Lucci called out for being stupid. Several posters including me called all this out on CTJs "Why we stomp Clemson" thread. I'm with CTJ. This was a good B- performance by Quinn against a questionable defense. It's not a gloating game for haters nor lovers. The majority of the issues in the offensive game last night from the offense fall directly on Sark.
  6. He's fucking aces inside 40. He's questionable outside 40 for sure. In case you're bad at math 36 yards is less than 40. It wasn't just the decision to go for it, but the play call and players in for the call. A bad coaching call no matter how you choose to slice it.
  7. Well, the first one was a 7 yard loss and cost us 2 players so.. I mean..
  8. Just in case people here don't know or think you're being hyperbolic. Yes, he actually killed a general with an Anti-Aircraft gun
  9. Because this is not Vietnam! There are rules!! This is Hanna Cavinder and her twin sister. Yes, really. Biological twin.
  10. I see you and raise you a La Croix It's French! It's high class!!!
  11. Remember when a Big XII team missed a playoff because of perception. Look, pulling for your conference team mates to do well against other conferences in the CFP is simple self preservation. Having any positive bias in media view is a bonus. There is a shit ton of subjectivity in the CFP process. Do you remember all the fans here yelling about how we should be #5... and we were. Well, it sure as shit doesn't if we played in the Big XII. Just ask Iowa State. Actively hoping your conference loses is self sabotage. It hurts Texas in the long run when SEC teams lose in bowls and the CFP. 4 ACC teams made it in. That's due to a goofy media bias. I'm not preaching go full SECSECSEC. Just, ya know, pull for things that are good for Texas long term. That this reality is lost on Texas fans after being in the Big XII is flat out amazing. Particularly when it lands them pulling for OSU. Ohio fucking State University. That is flat out regarded.
  12. Tennessee will make a run. They'll make it close again before OSU pulls away. It's what they've done in nearly every loss. It's weird but consistent.
  13. I really don't know that I've seen a coach better at killing the teams momentum than Sark. Mostly, it's directly tied to 1 aspect, consistently. Something is working (whatever that might be) and then he just inexplicably abandons whatever that might be. Usually, it happen about halfway through the second, and continues all the way through the 3rd. Then somewhere in the 4th quarter he goes back to whatever was working in the 1st and early 2nd. Then we put the game away. Over and over. Every fucking game. It's maddening and mind bottling.
  14. Fair enough. I think it's a FUMB vs Ousux situation for Day. Best reason/logic I got. However, I disagree with you a bit. I'm certain that most here have watched enough football to understand my matchups point, the posts I read don't reflect that they actually DO. πŸ˜‰
  15. Fixed. We don't want OSU. Bad, bad match up.
  16. Can we discuss this game in this thread maybe?
  17. Football is about matchups, athleticism, scheme and emotion (momentum). Too many people don't understand this simple reality.
  18. *Has And we lost to Georgia twice and Vandy, despite being out classed played us close. ND would be a challenge for Texas. I don't know what else to tell you.
  19. This, fuck the 12 teams. Let's go to a 2 team playoff. That will fix everything. Jesus this shit is worse than NCAA basketball tourney nonsense. Please take the CFP whining to the CFP crying thread. Oh no, we've got more college football and not all of them are close games. We are actually deciding it on the field instead of letting mediots decide. This is terrible. FML!!!
  20. You're wrong. ND has a defense that is very similar to Georgia regarding speed and scheme. How'd that work out? Twice? Pedo U doesn't worry me. OSU, Oregon, Georgia and ND concern me. Oregon mostly cause that's gonna require a lot of points and they play better D than Clemson.
  21. ND isn't that good, but yeah they're probably #5 or 6. Texas does NOT match up well against ND strengths though. They are a better running team with more mobile QB than Georgia with a similar D speed.
  22. OSU and Oregon are the best 2 teams, top to bottom, playing right now. Georgia is probably 2B.
