Well, next time a hurricane hits Austin I hope the folks living there are well supplied.

Why Does Mississippi State Exist?
I wouldn't suggest putting Hattiesburg on any must see tourist list, but it's substantially better.

Why Does Mississippi State Exist?
I said it in a different thread but when I reach the point where I think, "We'll this will force some changes" regarding winning or losing against a specific team (Kansas cough cough) it's not a good thing.

What's most frustrating is we didn't abandon the run, Sark just didn't put running the ball in his script. Mind blowing.

Why Does Mississippi State Exist?
Well... I mean. I don't want to go to game Syracuse, mostly cause the ACC is a shit conference but the football and the city are far better options.

I really dislike New Jersey and have had to be there more than I care to admit. It's a utopian paradise in comparison.

Why Does Mississippi State Exist?
Yeah, I've had the good fortune of being in most of those for work or actually attending a game. There aren't many I would choose to go back to, but if forced to do so I'd gladly select all of them prior to returning to Starkville. I mean, it would be a choice with zero hesitation or regret.

You are directing your frustration a one player of 11. We didn't run the ball against Kentucky because early efforts were failing due to Sark using the complex blocking scheme and belief that he could return to the scheme that he had used all year prior to OU. The blame of your frustration is incorrectly placed on a single player. It should correctly be placed on the person deciding the scheme and plays which has already been clearly determined not to work. Arch can't execute the plan our head coach is demanding he play. Repeated efforts to force him to attempt to do so is not the players fault. That you're unable to grasp this simple reality makes it clear discussion with you on the topic is absolutely pointless, so I won't anymore.

Yeah, poor @Nice Guy Eddie is likely to get negbolivianed for even suggesting something that would so greatly reduce billable legal hours.

Stop being reasonable! There is no room for such behavior here.

An alligator slithered into the longhorns’ pasture, chomping out clever comments like he owned the place. His alliteration was so slick it almost distracted from the fact he was way out of his swamp. The longhorns figured only their own would roast Texas football—but nope, this gator showed up to stir the chili with a spoon made of stupid.

Murder is such a tricky one too. It shares some similarities, with SA, CSA, domesticA, in that offenders tend to have extremely low recidivism rates or extremely high ones. Even moreso in homicide that crimes of passion, almost always husband/wife or girlfriend/boyfriend have among the lowest recidivism rates of any crime. However, when coupled with other prior criminal acts like SA, CSA or DA the rates of recidivism go much higher. Which brings us round to predictive sentencing. The easiest low hanging fruit of how it can be both abused and cause major issues is drug 3 strikes sentencing guidelines. Then they tack seizures on top it can get way out of wack way too fast. Then you cross it with the actual crime itself, murder. It is, in fact, the worst crime one can commit as it takes another's life. There is no amount of therapy, love or belief that can rectify murder as opposed to the rest. I am in no way diminishing damage from CSA, CP, DA, or SA as I myself know the pain and suffering from those, but... I did go on living. My easy answer, is that I firmly believe repeat offenders of CSA, CP, or SA should face the very real possibility of life in prison. The worst counter to my own thought is the data shows the older one is the less likely they are to become recidivist despite priors. Fucking quandary. No simple answers which is itself frustrating.

You're incorrect. Against Kentucky we went back to the complex blocking scheme rather than simple down blocking, which given our OL completely fucked our running game. So, knowning we couldn't run, which is key to Sarks offense they started blizting and putting more pressure on Arch. We also ran the WR routes that took longer to develop with a longer drop. Thereby increasing the time for the play to develop while there was less time to do so. You want to blame a single player. Tony Hills and I know wtf we're talking about, you're a clueless git. It amuses the shit out of me that when an entire offense doesn't work for shit, there are 44 yards rushing and a total of 179 yards nearly 1/2 the yards Toledo got 329 yards of offense on Kentucky's D, some idiots want to blame a single player on Texas offensive issues. It's so fucking idiotic.

In my best butter teeth voice: "Steve, you're right, all this fan negativity just scares ya to death. I'm just telling you right now, you're on the right path. Tell those negativity nancies the real concern is the team you're facing this week. I mean you just look across the field and you have to be impressed at the talent those teams have at their disposal. Keep on the path Steve. You're right and they're wrong. This is my friend Jimbo, I think you guys have met. He agrees with me."

I largely agree with a very specific exception, that being clearly demonstrated flight risk. Roman Polanski is the first big name aligned to the subject that comes to mind. Maxwell another. Those who have clear motives, connections and finances to avoid the US criminal justice system's reach. To play my own devil's advocate it seems unfair that because someone is wealthy and connected the risk of flight should be assumed and their life put on hold without clear history of evasion of the law. As such, perhaps a true financial motivation would be most appropriate. Say, millions of dollars in wire transfer funds only held by the court with a demand of passport surrender. I dunno, sometimes I argue with myself.
