  1. Yeah it's a wet blanket, but it's also sadly where a large number of the stories from this page will end.
  2. TxTow... there's a pederast blast from the past.
  3. Look man, you're just going to have to search elsewhere for the start of your "modeling career".
  4. Don't bring those POS rice burners into the conversation. That shit ain't 'Murican.
  5. I don't even think I'd throw your toddlers or dogs off the tower much less mine. 🤔 Could I just throw him instead?
  6. It could and if you couple it with the aforementioned Freddy/Fanie concerns could potentially increase the failure risk. It's a double edge blade because if either/both Evergrandes/Country Gardens goes under that will create an issue. Without their equally bad replacements it leaves a pretty big leak without anyone to fill it. However, a replacement is probably just prolonging the inevitable. It's not good either way.

He wasn't saying it was aliens but...
  8. Please add me to the unhip non-Accord driving but Discord having Android using non-Tesla Truck owning nerd waiting for the non-hip non-apple version of this app. ..and welcome to The Suck @AutographMeg
  9. My favorite part was the "trails" he took in Hidden Falls. It's been a hot minute since I've been out there but it appeared 99% were on the "park road". Edit - Need to add "No Teslas" to the no boozing warning on the top.
  10. I'll never understand why any female would date an abuser like Tyreek. She's clearly self confident, driven, and stupidly attractive. :::Sigh::: That's a discussion for another thread and your question on Kevin has been answered.
  11. Hah, well, I just made a similar point with the Badgers and the Chicago/Midwest market.
  12. Something often missed on Wisconsin is how close it is to Chicagoland. The bulk of the grads end up in Chicago. When you couple that with lack of real in state player (Illinois and Northwestern are winning shit), the bulk of the population turns their college love elsewhere. In Chicago, ND is the closest to the "In State home team" with a chance. Then Ohio State and Michigan fans are the next most common fan base. In Chicago market that leaves a good deal of folks tuned into Wisconsin, whether they are playing UM or OSU or just because they have a large alumni in the town. It's a curious dynamic for a really large TV market.
  13. I find the use of the word gobble very disturbing in this parlance. #nevergofullaggie
  14. Awesome! I'm very disappointed we've yet to see a South Carolina vs USC bowl match up. I'd show up just to sell shirts I designed. (With Thujone assistance of course)
  15. I largely agree with the sentiment on this page regarding Worthy. The other issues I noted beyond separation is adjustment to the ball in air. He's usually great, but not always consistent and his hands are the second. He made some amazing catches but he also dropped too many over his career. They will evaluate all 4 aspects. His 40 times noted above are the make or break as it is a way to provide that separation. However, it also requires great mid-air adjustment and super glue hands for the NFL scouts to move him to a 1st round. I think AD has shown more consistent hands and adjustment, and most here it seems agree. The lazy routes are an easier fix than physics of regarding Worthy. As such, if AD does well, he's a lower risk, imo, with admittedly lower upside than Worthy for an NFL team. But.. that's just like my opinion man.
  16. It would not surprise me at all to discover that, outside of football season, the entire Sanders camp lives elsewhere.
  17. Absolutely. Let's not canonize Saban, he was no Saint, though he was a team first coach. Make no mistake about that reality. The world has changed but the grift is now out in the open instead of via car dealerships in Alabama. That's the hitch, CU doesn't have car dealerships nor an Alumni base ready to toss in the big dollars, really big dollars, that the blue bloods have. Same game different execution.
  18. Yeah I guess my take is while I like to laugh at marks of the snake oil sales man, they are still marks. In this case, I do feel some sadness for them. It's their choice, but do they know what they're actually buying. I don't know the answer.
  19. Deion was never a team guy, his moving around to the highest bidder and having physical abilities that made him the best was his brand then, and it's his brand now. The look at me brand. It's fine when you're a magically gifted athlete. It can cause some issues in the locker room, but maybe not. I don't think it is a successful formula for a head coach. Even IF he was getting the best talent in the land, which he isn't, that doesn't win championships without a head coach who, while perhaps a douche bag, is about team. Saban did that, like or hate him, he did it it better than anyone. Maybe the game has changed enough that Deion's brand can win championships, but I'll believe it when I see it. First he needs to get the top talent in, $300 dinner won't get it done and CU won't generate the NIL. For the record, I'm 90% certain the day he doesn't have a child playing, he out of there as fast as he can find a new grift. That's on point for look at me, non-team brand.
