  1. VY probably gets out that way fairly often. Not that surprising.
  2. This is what I’m talking about. There shouldn’t even be segments, let alone entire shows, about gambling odds and ways to place bets. In some sense, I guess it’s the same as beer commercials, but this just feels so much more sinister and pervasive.
  3. I don’t have a problem with it being legal, but the fact that sports networks and leagues have so embraced it is disconcerting to me. Maybe I’m naive, but seems like there should be some sort of regulation there. Probably for another thread though.
  4. It’s all a grift. All of it. Everything in America is about swindling someone else.
  5. It's all water under the bridge.
  6. Biff Tannen replied to Zavala's topic in Daily Texan
It is still unreasonable, unless you’re a confused simpleton. But surely that’s not you.
  7. Which sadly is pretty important in politics these days.
  8. For those that can’t or won’t click on the tweet
  9. I’ll take ā€œthings no republican would EVER consider doingā€ for $10000000, Ken.
  10. We just got back from Healdsburg over new years and the in laws asked if we flew into Santa Barbara. They have no clue where anything is or how anything works in California because they are scared shitless of it because of Fox News.
  11. Gah, horrible. Hook em Jordan. You got this.
  12. You know better than this.
  13. lol ok Cory. I’m sure we will get right on that.
  14. I didn’t rent it shoes. It’s not taking your fucking turn Dude.
  15. People like Rubio are positioning themselves for the fall and hoping they will be able to stand on the ashes.
  16. Brand new trash bag in empty trash can. She puts an empty plastic Amazon bag on top of the can and leaves it there instead of pushing it down. So I can’t just toss something in, I have to push her empty bag all the way down to allow for other trash.
  17. I disagree. It’s not his fault Americans are the dumbest people on earth. But that’s for another thread. Fuck these traitors. This should be a national day of remembrance. Remembering the Capitol Police who died and also what we SHOULD have done to the perpetrators, both at the Capitol and the republicans who helped plan and encourage it.
  18. This drives me a little insane. Dan is right in the pre-social media/propaganda age, but now it just seems like he's missing the bigger picture.
  19. i didn't get past the 2nd paragraph.
  20. This is how you rewrite history. God damn these people. God damn them all.
  21. You know, deep down, I always kinda felt that they blamed me for Susan's death. Why, because you picked out the poision envelopes? That's silly.
  22. My friend's immunocompromised 6 year old daughter with cancer in South Carolina is super pumped to hear this.
  23. The dumbest people in the dumbest timeline. I’m somehow still astounded at the lack of dignity so many people apparently have.
