  1. Someone recommended husky floor liners over weather tech and I tip my hat to them. They arent as rigid and fit very well. The weather techs I had in my last truck never fit right from the word go.

  2. I have sync3 in my Ford truck and want to be able to run an app like google earth or avenza maps that could overlay maps or kmz files that show up on the truck screen with real time location on that map. I have android. Is this remotely possible? If not, make the app and make it happen please. It would be huge for the construction world.

    ou sucks

Man, I love the way my F150 tows my 32' RV trailer.  Dry weight is 6500 lbs, I've probably had it loaded up to around 8000-8100 lbs, and never once felt like it was pushing me around.

Now, pulling that same trailer behind my Tahoe was a very different feeling.  And it was mostly unloaded at the time.

Wierd. I had a 150 screw with 6.5' bed and max tow package and my trailer made for some white knuckle driving. Even have one of those new fangled hitches with the stabilizers. Idk. Either way I am happy with the upgrade.

  4. No the mileage will be shit in this  F250 with 6.2 gasser, but it is something I can deal with. I have towed my RV with essentially this same truck through the hill country (went back roads from Buda out to Junction area after a rv recall) and it got around 8 mpg. If I get out on flatter roads and less start stop it will certainly go up. I can trade that mileage loss for the ability to understand how to work on the motor as opposed to a diesel I know nothing about.  The 33' RV trailer also doesn't feel like it is driving you like it did in my F150.

  5. Went gas since max I tow is around 8500 lbs and didnt want to deal with the issues that have cropped up on some coworkers diesels. After 8 years it is nice to finally have a new ride.336860057eb496acf58428ae4102f97f.jpg

My first recommendation to anyone is don't fall off the fucking boat.

Look man, I practiced for 6 months on a J22 only to show up in Bellingham to find out these assholes were making us race Santana fucking 20s. I cant help it that my muscle memory told me there was boat to stand on after that tack. While punched out...only to lose 2 places while my crew spun around to pick my dumbass up. Fucking Sears cup nightmares.

I agree, stay on the damned boat. Also fuck that abortion of a boat.

  7. I kill rattlers that are anywhere near camp. 2 young kids and 3 dogs running around there and I am not going to deal with the chances. I have a giant coachwhip that likes to come around camp and I let that cool ass dude roll around. It is fucking cool.

I will say I bought a long ass snake gripper deal and I might start relocating even the rattlers if I stop seeing them as often. There are rat snakes and I have a huge one on camera at water trough. If I can get more of those and less rattlers, I would be happy.

  8. Bought a new truck tonight. I fucking hate dealing with the process. Those people are worse than a pack of aggies talking about sec mixed with okie meth houses. In the end I got what I felt was a fair enough deal. Glad the fuckery is over. Will post pics once the sun comes up.

Nextdoor page is blowing the fuck up with bullshit reports of homeless camps popping up in peoples yards.

I preemptively built my own tent city in my front yard just to keep them out of my yard. It wasn't hard at all. Found everything I needed on bulk pickup day.
