  1. Definitely not winning a championship this year no matter who we add at this point but adding Addison and better line play should be enough help us win the BIg12 at least and have an outside chance of making the playoffs. That would be a monumental achievement.
  2. Also, it's pretty clear that Sark's strategy is to put up 50 points a game to cover up for a below average defense.
  3. From fan interest alone, the new Big 12 would be well positioned to be a solid third football conference every year. The problem for them will be that with NIL becoming an increasing factor, even teams like Mizzou will be able to pay top coaches and players more money, build better facilities, etc. We are talking almost $50 million more per team by 2026 than what the Big 12 would pay. The divide in college football will rapidly increase at this rate with conferences outside of the SEC and BIG 10 making less than half of what those two make. For right now the BIG 12 will be okay but as time goes by the talent and money gap is going to hurt worse and worse for schools like ISU, OSU and Tech. Basketball may hold up but football is going to go from being competitive with the Big 2 to wishing for an upset every once in a while.
  4. Its a dumb position to take. All they are doing is limiting exposure for their conferences and teams. The perception is going to remain that the SEC is the strongest conference and should have 2 teams in the playoffs every year. With Texas and OUsux added, the SEC will have even more eyes on their games. Soon ESPN will start pressing for 3 SEC teams deserve to be in since its so tough.
  5. Harbaugh and their new GM have a history together at SF. It sounds like the GM is more of an analytics guy so they may be able to convince Harbaugh to take the job by giving him control of the roster.
  6. If this were to actually happen I think PK is gone and GP is given the chance to assemble his own staff. I don’t see him sharing titles with anyone.
  7. GP has always come off as petty but I didn’t know if he still had the drive to coach. I think coming in as a DC would give him the perfect opportunity to prove himself and get revenge on TCU admins
  8. Depth was one of our biggest issues this year. Now if you want to blame Sark and his staff for not foreseeing depth as a problem that’s one thing but when you have guys at key positions with poor attitudes that know their backups can’t play at this level there’s not much you can do about it during the season. That’s why I’m looking forward to who he brings in to replace the potential 30+ players that leave/get cut this year. If this staff is able to evaluate players the way they did Worthy then we will have a massive turn around next year.
  9. That’s the second thing he’s said (the first being “I’m built for this”) that leads me to believe he may be more aggressive then his public persona shows. Out of all the coaches that have been through Alabama, Sark was the one they were ready to give the keys to the kingdom to after Saban retired. That leads me to believe that there may be more to him from a coaching standpoint then what we’ve seen so far. This season was a unmitigated disaster but I think if Sark is given the opportunity to recruit players he feels fits his system he will get this thing turned around.
  10. What a butthurt clown. If aggy didn’t run their mouths so much no one would even know they exist.
  11. It’s too early to determine if Sark is a fraud or not. A quick way to find out if he is a serious coach is by watching how aggressive he is in the transfer portal and how quickly he pushes some of these players out the door. One recruiting class alone isn’t going to change things. They have to be searching the portal to find players that can perform their assignments
  12. Card is athletic enough to move in the pocket if need be. It’s generally accepted that he has more potential as a QB than Casey. The problem with Card is his lack of experience with live reps. I never agreed with Sark essentially putting him on clipboard duty for the rest of the season after one bad game when game experience is what he needs. Short term it worked out for a while with Casey but teams have figured him out and know that all they have to do is key on Bijan and Casey can’t beat them. Card might not be the guy but we sure better be sure of that before he transfers out and we’re left with Casey and a true freshman QB.
  13. This. It would benefit this team so much more if he would take the 4-8 yards on a run instead of trying to throw the ball into triple coverage. At this point, Card should start. We need to see what we have for next year.
  14. Now let’s go score a touchdown and put this game out of reach
  15. They have to run the ball. They’re giving OUsux to much of a chance to tee off on Casey
  16. Yup. I hate pig but it would look a lot better if they finished with a respectable record and beat aggy
  17. Maybe Memphis gets an invite afterwards.
  18. I think they are preparing for the LSU job to open up. LSU will probably offer him a lot of money. It’s a better job than aggy and it’s probably the place he really wants to be. The only problem is LSU is not going to give him a contract with no buyout which is what aggy is hoping will get him to stay.
  19. I think we are good. Sark has experience with two schools that are considered to be some of the best ever to play. He has NFL experience. He proved at Washington that he is capable of bringing a program from a laughingstock to respectable and his personal struggles played a big part in what happened at USC. Unlike Strong and Herman, he’s brought in top tier assistant coaches. The team was 13 points away from being undefeated last year with Tom restraining Bijan and players not being properly developed. Watch and see. Sark is going to create a Monster here.
  20. I think we go 11-1 but if we start out the season 5-0, we’re winning every one of them.
  21. Don’t worry. By the end of next Saturday we’ll be arguing over signing Sark to a new contract or firing him on Monday.
