  1. We are going to win at least 9 this year. I went with 10. We don't go against as many experienced Qb's this year like we did last year and our line play should get better. I think we're going to have a lot of happy fans by the end of the season.
  2. That is some good info and it really just reaffirms the fact that the BigXII is working from a position of strength not weakness. It's time to start talking to any and all Pac schools and see who is willing to listen. My guess is the California schools will never leave but Utah, Colorado and the Arizona schools might be willing to at least hear what we have to offer. Potentially adding the Denver and Phoenix markets will help any future TV deals which should comfortably leave us in the top 3 payouts per conference.
  3. I would have had him an inch closer to DKR had he not napalmed recruiting on the way out. That was the move of a small petty man and made me lose a lot of respect for the many accomplishments he had while here. It honestly set us back for several years which is exactly what I think he wanted. I think it will take Texas winning another championship for most people to see him as a beloved figure instead of a friend who betrayed the university.
  4. Texas and Ousux would be a permanent cross division game
  5. The Big 12 is financially stable and all of the members seem relatively happy with the money they receive. We are competing for championships in nearly all sports and we have a long history with each other. The point is the Big 12 is working from a position of strength. The Pac is weakening, their members are getting restless and the weaker leagues are getting more tv exposure. Now is the perfect time to try to start picking off teams. I think you go for the Arizona schools, Colorado and Utah/Byu with the understanding that if any of the Cali teams show interest, they get first priority. You build a strong western division with Texas, Tech, Baylor, Arizona, Arizona st, Colorado and Utah/Byu. The eastern division would include Ousux, okie lite, Tcu, Kansas, Ksu, Isu, Wvu. Play 9 conference games with one permanent rival and cycle through 2 teams from the other division every year to guarantee every team plays each other once every 3 years.
