  1. Curry couldn’t have played much better and Tatum couldn’t have played much worse. Wish the Mavs had half the bench as either of these teams.
  2. The intro where tapping on the bar rail with a pencil turns into the whole bar chanting “we will rock you” was absolute genius.
  3. I used to fall asleep watching Cheers at 10:30 pm after local news all through high school. Now I have a Pavlovian response every time I hear the saxophone start to play the theme song and immediately fall asleep. I love the early episodes with coach and Diane but the show just got better when Woody, Rebecca and Frasier/Lillith came along. Agree that the episodes with rivalry with Gary’s old town tavern were the best.
  4. In this day and age everyone has a camera on their phone. As soon as she stopped and guy got out of his car, she should’ve started filming.
  5. Rebounding in crunch time ( or lack of it) is what killed us.
  6. I think I’ll start a study on camel toes and their effect on heterosexual men. Could I get a government grant for that?
  7. One down, two to go. Thank god Danny is finally gone. Please put Bob back with Dan and tell Corby to eat a dick. I’m more or less just listening to podcasts on my way home from work now because the hardline just annoys the shit out of me when I’m trying to unwind after work.
  8. Kleber and Bullock being 0fer wasn’t expected. They are WIDE OPEN but straight up choking
  9. I think there’s some confusion on Saban’s and reporters end. He shouldn’t have issues with NIL deals if they were structured correctly and above board. What everyone should take issue with is that aggies apparently claim none of their new signees have NIL deals but they signed with them anyway. The only logical explanation is that they were given money under the table which has huge tax implications (obviously no one in their right mind who could play anywhere in the country would voluntarily play in college station in front of those rubes). He shouldn’t have a complaint if they “bought” players with NIL deals, he should have a complaint if they were “bought” the players under the table.
  10. What a waste of a marquee matchup
  11. He’s the anti-Harden. Luka shows up when it matters most instead of disappearing. Not many other guys I can think of to lead a team into game 7 or take a last shot to tie or win.
  12. This motherfucking bullshit is on NBAtv again and blacked out. Fuck you Bally’s, I hope your CEO gets AIDS
  13. These bumps always scare me.
  14. You can also make the argument that Russians have no idea what’s really going on the war and Chinese/North Koreans have no idea what’s going outside their countries. There’s 2 sides to the free speech coin. The problem is that they silenced a dissenting opinion from a major political party which puts a lot of fear in people who want to hear both sides of an argument. Twitter absolutely has the right to censor stuff as a privately owned company. Good on Musk for trying to allow a forum for reasonable discourse.
  15. In that one video, everyone appears to be looking to the right and more people go left. Was the shooter on the car and one of the first people off or did he throw smoke bombs in from outside the car and shoot folks before the doors closed and took off?
  16. What makes you think Miller is leaving anytime soon? Just had a kid- seems like he’s here for the long haul unless you think he’s gonna retire to spend time with his family.
  17. Wife forced this on me and this was my takeaway. Hated every character in this except her attorney. Did every episode mention how much they hated Trump?
  18. There were several instances where we had guys in position to make a play on D but they just sucked and couldn’t finish…. I’m looking at you Brockermeyer.
  19. Questionable subs for sure
  20. I didn’t necessarily want kids when I was younger but we had them to keep my wife happy. Now I love them almost more than anything in the world….. I didn’t want a dog either but got one to keep my wife happy, and now I love that dog more than anything in the world. You just never know.
  21. No- I personally think it’s wrong that they decide and filter information but it’s their business and it’s the most common platform out there. I wish there were alternatives but at the present time there isn’t. I don’t think the government forcing a private business to practice a certain way is legit either but it’s what we’ve got.
  22. I agree with you, private businesses can do what they feel is best.
  23. Then where does it stop? Do you silence communists? Antifa? Ted Cruz? AOC? Ilhan Omar? It’s a slippery slope? We shouldn’t all have a homogenous opinion. We should be free thinkers and decide for ourselves. The worst thing we could do is let the government or administrators at Twitter/FB/IG decide what information should reach us.
  24. If you want to go on Twitter and bring someone’s comments or actions to light, I absolutely think you should. If that results in someone getting fired for making insensitive remarks, fine with me. I don’t give a shit as long as there is a platform for someone to have an opinion.
  25. It wasn’t right then and it’s not right now. No one should be persecuted or “canceled” for their beliefs. If you don’t like what someone has to say, ignore them, just like the crazy religious guy telling everyone they’re going to hell or PETA members protesting furs. That’s what’s been great about this country is that if you don’t like something, you can absolutely change things through protests and movements. Suppose civil rights leaders were silenced because the mainstream didn’t like what they had to say. Just because you don’t agree with something someone says doesn’t mean it’s not dangerous to silence their voices.
