I was an Arch apologist. He’s awful. The worst QB in the SEC. Any decent QB would’ve won last week with that gameplan and defense. We only scored 1 offensive TD. He’s just not very good. He’s tough, he’s got a great personality but he’s not a good QB.
We were in section 15. The concourse at that end if the stadium was ridiculous. Got into the stadium quickly but when we got to the narrowed concourse we waited and waited and moved a few inches a minute. I’m glad we decided to go into the stadium about 40 minutes before kick off but we actually got to our seats about 8 mins before KO. Nearly saw a couple of fights break out. I love having the game at the fair but that stadium will be a piece of shit until they widen the concourses around the stadium and improve the bathroom situation.
Every time I see this picture I think about the Seinfeld episode where the guy gave George a Met Life windbreaker so George wouldn’t stretch out the neck hole on his cashmere sweater.
Manning getting better…. But you have this backwards. This offensive line may be the worst line in a power 5 football conference.
Ewers made his line look worse than they were last year with all the self sacking. Manning is actually making his line look better than the shit show they are with the scrambling.
I agree with this 100%. I’d feel a lot better if he seemed like this bothered him or he said he needed to make changes or find some guys who want to win. Instead, sounds like everything is status quo and they can “still achieve their preseason goals”. He and his fucking coaching staff are getting laughed at around the country. No one thinks he’s an offensive guru or QB whisperer anymore. He should be more pissed than us that Flood and his band of merry pussies are starting to tank his career again after he worked so hard to resurrect it.
Our o line is worse than most G5 lines and probably a lot of the FCS lines that most SEC schools play. We’re gonna look like a warm up game for most of the better SEC defenses. What Florida did to our o line looked like what we were doing to SHSU. There’s no excuse for a program like Texas to be this bad. There’s no way flood can keep his job after this season right?? RIGHT??
Just watched the presser. The loss doesn’t seem to bother him at all. That’s depressing AF. We’ll see if he has any fire in him after getting his ass kicked next weekend by a back up QB
What’s nice is having a running back that recognizes you can bounce outside instead of getting swallowed up by guys bull rushing up the middle because your interior offensive line sucks ass.
