  1. It is exactly the same. Too conservative. Too many key 3rd and 4th downs without additional pressure via blitz. Just like last season. I'm not sure what games you are watching.
  2. We sucked at sacking the QB last year and this year. PK is consistent in his scheme.
  3. You are jumping in at the tail end of a long conversation. This all goes back to something that was told to me by USC grad, not something I said. It was radically misinterpreted by another poster.
  4. You have created a bizarre narrative in your own brain that had nothing to do with what was written. He wasn't a bad coach because he drank, he drank because he was a bad coach. He doesn't have the capacity to be a successful head coach in big time college football. This depressed him and caused him anxiety, so he drank. Then, you responded, "No one is better at anything because they drink" as if the posted statement implied he drank to be a better coach. No, he drank in the past because he sucks at being a head coach and knows he will never succeed at being a head coach.
  5. No one said anyone is better at anything because they drink. I can't even begin to fathom how you think that was stated in any way. Did you go to Texas Tech?
  6. After the West Virginia game, I think you will be able to talk more 4* and 5* recruits into fighting for Russia in Ukraine than playing ball for Sark in Austin.
  7. Jesus Tap-Dancing Christ, we've played 2 non-power 5 teams & Texas Tech and we're 72 in total offense and 75 in total defense. I think I'm going to drive down to Sark's office and take a dump on his desk.
  8. This is a chance to carry my legacy forward in to 2023 after I murder myself after our 2nd consecutive loss to Kansas this November.
  9. I had a business conversation last evening with a USC grad (he has a Masters from USC). He is a big football fan and we discussed Sark. He has been following Sark's career for a longer time than any of us. He feels a lot of people give Sark a pass on his poor performance as a head coach pre-Texas because of his alcoholism. He insists Sark wasn't a bad head coach because he drank. He drank because he is a bad head coach. I think he is likely correct.

    It's Dead, Jim

The NFL had to do this. It was only a matter of time until a Tech fan rushed the field and shoved Aaron Donald.
  11. So....we're technically undefeated? Time to print the shirts?!?
  12. That is what every Nebraska fan said early in Scott Frost's 2nd year.
  13. I hope you aren't operating any heavy machinery today.
  14. We would lose to Houston and we will lose to WVU next week. I struggle to see your point.
  15. In that play, Quinn was immediately chased out of the pocket buy a guy who rushed right up the gut and our crap interior o-line couldn't block him. Quinn spun out only to find Dallas Turner closing on him. Quinn had to elevate just to through the ball over Dallas Turner and out of bounds. You are the strangest guy on this board and it isn't close.
  16. I think this is a very unfair criticism of the players. The interior o-line is garbage, but we all knew this would happen. The blame falls on Sark. We all knew that our o-line would be a combination of very poor players and true freshmen. For 2 off-seasons, Sark completely ignored the transfer portal for o-linemen. Baylor didn't - and won the conference. KU didn't - and they will beat us for a 2nd year in a row. If we had picked up a couple of 1-year rentals on the o-line that were just average players, it isn't unreasonable to think that Quinn doesn't get rocked against Bama and this season is radically different. Even if that didn't prevent Quinn's injury, then we would have certainly run up the gut better against Tech. Sark deliberately chose this o-line path and it will lead us to another disappointing season.
  17. PK's defense has blown so many double-digit halftime leads. It's shocking. The only thing more shocking is that Sark and CDC don't care.
  18. It won't. I think being more aggressive could have taken away 1 or 2 Tech scoring drives and possibly a few 4th down conversions. That would have been the difference.
  19. 6 is our ceiling and even if we only win 4 or 5 Sark is going nowhere. CDC doesn't have the stones to do what needs to be done this offseason.
  20. It was our only chance to win the game. We should have taken it.
  21. With our coaches turtling up and blowing 2nd half leads, and most of out players being absolute pussies, I don't think 6-6 is abysmal. Looking at our schedule, 6-6 would be pretty nice. Kansas is going to beat us by at least 2 scores. They have a real coach.
  22. I don't know who we should hire to replace Sark. I think we are in a Scott Frost situation and CDC will keep him for 2 more disappointing seasons after this disappointing season. After CDC gets fired in early 2025, I hope the next AD only talks to coaches who have at least one double-digit win season at a Power 5 program.
  23. On 3rd and 4th down, when we run the wildcat with Roschon and he runs between the tackles, will the WVU defense be surprised? If no, we are in big trouble.
