  1. Those singers are awesome. I don't think I could get one in any color other than gulf blue.
  2. Back is marginally safer for relentless hazing. If sitting in the front I’d say go with row 4 or back. Otherwise you’re gonna get wet in addition to getting torched by the MC
  3. Going to pick it up Friday for the wife. 2016 cayenne turbo. Not sure what she’s gonna do with 520hp, but whatever she does she will do it quickly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Bucees choke slams them all. I have to drive from Houston to Dallas and back on Friday to pick up my wife’s new car and I’m ready planning my bucees stops in Madisonville
  5. My kid loves to go to DL/CA every year. He’s 10. He’s actually not the biggest fan of Disney movies, but he loves going to the parks. I love being there with him and riding rides with him. It’s definitely not really my thing. The parks are generally old and pretty shitty. It’s mostly a trip to spend 80% of your time doing nothing but waiting in line. We have stayed on property at the grand California and the service there would need to improve immensely to suck. Those people dgaf about anything. They’re like airline employees. We have stayed at some form of marriottt across the street the last couple of years. It’s been fine. Roscoes chicken and waffles up the road has to be the most overrated fried. Hi Ken on the planet. Give me gus’s breakfast klun or Popeyes. I will say I don’t love seeing the place decorated for Christmas. It’s amazing. Also cool to escape for a bit to the ESPN cafe and watch some bowl games.
  6. So...my wife has a 2012 cayenne s hybrid. It’s been a fantastic car. Absolutely wonderful. The inside still looks brand new. Problem was with the hybrid there’s no real exhaust note and the energy recapture system on the brakes is a bit awkward. Bigger problem is she’s driven my panamera gts a lot since I got it. She’s become addicted to the v8 and the exhaust note. She decided her car “wasn’t a real porsche”. You know what that means.... will report back, but all signs are pointing to a 2016 cayenne turbo. Still undefeated.
  7. It's apparently bring your most absurd car day at the Houstonian this morning. As I was walking to my lowly car I saw: Bentley continental r Ferrari- 488, 458, california Lambo- aventador Merc- lots, but the matte gunmetal g65 stood out Ac cobra- appeared original, not one of those kits Porsche - gt3, gt2, turbo s, various others It's like walking through an exotic car show.
  8. Why not both? Ha. Wifey started it up, got the blue plume of death smoke and it basically seized up. Crazy thing was we had just had valve work and some other shit done.theor v8 engines are so awesome until they’re not. I’ve had 5 of their cars with v8’s. They’re addictive, but mine never proved to be long term reliable. The x5m wasn’t short term reliable.
  9. Our 06 with the 4.4 shit the bed at a whopping 75k miles. The x5m was just a raging bitch from day one. It was badass as anything the few months it was actually driveable. Glad you got one of the good ones. I’ve been on both sides of that. My old E39 540 was a great one. Still miss that car. It was the sport package with 6speed manual. Loved that thing. 10. Wow. This is incredible. As a current owner of 3 of their vehicles I am obviously a huge homer for the brand, but damn if they don’t do some of the most remarkable specialty vehicle stuff. From This absurd 993 to the current GT2 RS Weissach package they are just on their game at the moment. They have also surpassed 350k units sold on the Macan which is a testament to the design and driveablilty of that vehicle. Great time for porsche for sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Got this bad boy out. Pretty much matches our football uniforms at this point Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. It isn’t a toy and you’re having a tough time finding a 997 that fits the bill you might consider a cayman s. There should be many nice ones in that price range. That said, I’d rather have a 911 that had been driven a good bit. Those are the cars that have few problems and stay on the road. The garage queens that never get driven are the ones that generally become troublesome. As for BMW, I am a former multi car BMW owner: 1998 540i, 1996 325, 2006 x5 v8, 2013 x5m, and a few others. The x5m and the 2006 x5 ensures I will never, ever buy another of their vehicles under any circumstances. That isn’t really analogous to an E46 m3, but I don’t trust them at this point. E46 is one of the best looking cars ever made.
  13. Fished under the bridge on 331 leading to 30A in Rosemary a couple of weeks back. Torn them up one day. Caught several slot reds, a 50lb black drum, a really nice blue fish that a rather large fucking bull shark devoured as we were about to net the thing, and some jacks. That was all on one day. Went out two days later to big ass fish fail. There was a storm rolling in and it was just brutal fishing.
  14. I have ohmss in my top 4. Casino Royale, FRWL, Dr No, OHMSS, skyfall, thunderball and FYEO. I’m probably the only one who has a roger Moore bond in my top 10, but dam I loved for your eyes only.
  15. The HEB brand jalapeño corn ships slay. That said, the best flavored corn chips by a long margin are Paquis. Got damn they’re good. All of them. Those ghost pepper ones are not for the timid. Thats said, Uncle Julio’s still reigns supreme frito cc went to shit a while back, sadly
  16. That shit is more burnt orange than ours.
  17. Breakfast at the brockton villa overlooking the ocean is always good. If you want an insane dinner experience Addison restaurant at the grand Del mar hotel is a Michelin star rated place and he beat meal I’ve ever had. That hotel is also the nicest hoteL I’ve ever stayed in. Great place. Good golf course on property too.

It’s always been extremely overpriced and overrated. Go to the last concert instead. Better food and the people aren’t dicks.
  19. Shinedown is great live. Brent’s voice is freaking amazing live. Guy just effortlessly kills it. Their stripped down version of simple man is must see.
  20. I waa at the show too. Largely agree. I was there mostly to see bush and they played really well. They’re always high energy and are great. That said, to me, the biggest surprise was the cult. Thought they sounded great. I had no expectations for them, and was blown away. They were really great. Ian’s voice sounds exactly like it did in the 80’s which really shocked me. Thought STP was fine, but clearly not as dynamic as they were with weiland. New guy does a nice job, but it’s just not the same. I’d say they’re about 80% of what they once were. Still a great catalog and the new guy does fine, but cleverly doesn’t have the range nor presence weiland had, few do. Grear show overall.
  21. Crazy as this sounds i had solid Bbq at Pappas bbq in the woodlands yesterday. I went to the stp/cult/bush concert and stopped there before the show. Mostly due to i don’t ever go up there, didn’t have a plan, and saw a sign for it. With no other real options or plan I pulled in. I order the beef trio which was brisket, beef rib, and beef sausage. The sausage was mostly terrible, but i drenched it in tangy sauce and made it edible. The beef ribs and brisket were both above avg. I didn’t expect that. Solid. Not spectacular by any means, but certainly not bad in a pinch. It was solidly better than Rudy’s.
  22. I rewatched it for the third time about a year ago and thought it was better than the two previous viewings. I thought it was groundbreaking in format giving us just enough action/killing/etc to get the pulse up, but was way more about character development and a deep dive into Tony’s life. It was the format that many other great shows have followed since, breaking bad, justified, Bosch, etc. I get it was a bit stereotypical of Italian organized crime. I get that some find that genre boring. I am not one of those people. I find it fascinating.
  23. I think he realized he didn’t want to work for anyone in some boring ass capacity, and realized right away that his scam artist inner self is now refined enough to take it to the masses as a trial lawyer. When he went back to give them the hard sell was his final audition. I hope/think we see Saul very very soon.
