We went to Petsmart to see Teddy. The rescue is there every weekend. When we got there, which was when the rescue got there, Teddy was with a couple already. He didn't even make it inside. He was very excited to see us. We all got lots of kisses. The couple that adopted him seem like a great fit for him.
If Susan's mom is immunocompromised then shouldn't Susan's mom put her in the online learning group instead of in person? My kids school gave them all the option of 100% online or 100% in the classroom. If I or anyone else in my family were high risk, then my kids would be in the online group.
I was a DOD contractor for 8 years. My total time in the part of the world was about 4 of the 8 years. Started in Iraq for a couple of tours and then did my last 2 years in Kuwait.
It really sucks when the winds shift to come out of the south and you get a touch of humidity. I lived there for 2 years and when it gets even a tad humid it just sucks more than it already does.
Watched the first episode last night. One thing that I simply don't understand is why that gym owner was brought in to testify. As far as I could tell, it had absolutely nothing to do with the case. Even if Kelley did say that he had been in the Marines, what difference does it make on that particular case? That was bizarre.
It happened to me many years ago. I was working at a snack bar and had to take the metal straps off the top of the juice machines every night so that I could clean inside the machines. I took the metal band off and just laid it in the back of the machine, which I did every night and how I was shown. One time I set it down and it went between the plug and the wall outlet and rested right on the prongs. The metal band was welded to the metal countertop by the time I was able to let go. I think every manager of the store that was on duty came by while I was closing up to see if I was okay. The pucker factor was probably pretty high for them.
