  1. Maybe, but I really didn't intend to. I know that there is no way that he could or should tell anyone anything related to that sort of information. We, as fans, like to say things like "Oli has lost the clubhouse", but we don't know shit about fuck. Hmmm..... (here's some speculating) Maybe Beau Vine not commenting on what his buddy may be feeling says a lot. Or, maybe his buddy hasn't said anything to him. Who knows.
  2. @Beau Vine Not going to ask you and I know that you would not never share it, but man would I love to hear what your buddy has to say about what's going on inside that clubhouse.
  3. The guy just pinch hit Motter for Gorman in the 6th inning. He's lost.
  4. Even up 2-0 after 1, STL should never have had a win probability greater than 50%.
  5. How I feel about this team right now.
  6. Hopefully that means he's on his way out.
  7. He's such a fake tough guy. ETA; Fuck! I can't just let it go. He didn't even answer the fucking question. What's your reaction to the fans being frustrated? Well, we're more frustrated than they are! It's not a dick measuring contest, you moron. This guy is starting to remind me of a passive-aggressive coach that once roamed the sidelines in Austin.
  8. May as well. I'll be saying it all season.
  9. Huh... I saw a post he made on Instagram a couple of weeks ago complaining about getting kicked off of the field. He's an odd one, that's for sure.
  10. Great news! New patch on the uniform will fix everything right up.
  11. Yeah, Girsch is definitely another fall guy. We all know that Mo and Dewitt are essentially the same person. The POBO title for Mo didn't come with any change of duties, just a newer, fancier title. Girsch is basically what George Costanza was for the Yankees. He's Mo's secretary/fall guy.
  12. No, but he should be. Marmol will end up being the fall guy, although I believe he is in way over his head. The Cardinals have hired yes men the last couple of hires. Shildt grew a spine and wanted to shitcan Jeff Albert and Mo wouldn't hear it, so they fired him instead*. Then Marmol is hired and he is definitely a yes man. They (Mo and Dewitt) need their yes man and fall guy for when the penny pinching bites them in the ass. * At least that's how I want to believe it went down.
  13. So, has Oli and/or Mo been fired yet? I can't seem to find anything.
  14. I have resigned myself to the thought that this team will not win unless DeWitt sells. Mo is the one that gets the most criticism, but he doesn't set the payroll. Mo pisses me off, but it isn't all his doing.
  15. That would definitely be a Cardinal move.
  16. What was she supposed to do, just quit in the middle of a level in Candy Crush?
  17. So I'm single with no kids now?
  18. Good points, all of them. I'm not going to watch the video either, as I have no desire to see a human being killed. I wonder if this was a crime of opportunity. Did he go into the store with the intention of robbing it, or was the register open and he saw an opportunity. Stupid, no doubt, but not the same level of stupid as going into a gun store intent on robbing it. Your points prior are good to bring up. What is the small family owned business supposed to do? Insurance only covers so much. Are police able to do anything about it? Where I live has a population of about 10K. At least a couple of times a week our police department is posting "help us locate this individual" still photos from Walmart and QT security video of people in the act of walking out the doors with unpaid merchandise. That appears to be the extent of what they do. I have no idea what it's like for the small business owner, but it can't be good.
  19. There's this guy that walks his dog every morning by our house. His dog likes to shit in our yard. To be honest, I don't really care.
  20. Situation dictates, to be honest. If the person was facing me and had a weapon, they are walking away with whatever they have. My life is simply not worth a bit of cash. If they didn't have a weapon, I'm still not sure what I'd do. I'm not Billy Badass. I was a Marine, but I'm self-aware enough to know that I don't know. If I'm not the store owner, I'm not trying to stop anyone from stealing anything. I'm trying to do as told and live another day. If it's my house and my family is there, I'm sure that my actions would be far different. Hopefully I never have to find out what I'd do in a situation like that.
  21. Yeah, first situation, if I happen to even know that they are there at 2AM, I'm turning on an inside light and waiting/watching to see what they do. I can also tell you that if someone broke into my outbuilding and was in the process of taking anything from it, they can have it. I'm endangering my family over "stuff". If they try to break into the house, that's a different story.
  22. I'm just a layman, but once the person has left the store and is no longer a threat, I for one don't think that they should be shot in the back.
  23. Gotta be honest, I'm pro second amendment. That being said, you are absolutely correct. Our society is beyond fucked up. We are well down this dark path and I don't think that we can course correct. People are just so angry about everything. I'm legitimately scared for my kids because of the world that we have created.
