  3. Go Navy!
  4. Congratulations. Glad you stuck with it.

  6. Regarding "Trump only respects strength", that's a bit too rosy for my taste. Like most cowards, it isn't that Trump "respects strength". He cowers when confronted with it. The only time he doesn't feel like a coward is when he sees clear weakness.
  7. That's certainly news to Lindsey Graham.

  9. Damn, Jones finally put together a decent season. He was understandably upset.
  10. Versus Michigan seemingly
  11. Oh, so now you want to qualify losses? There is nothing subjective about discussing losses according to ranking. The one loss playoff teams, in order of ranking: Lost to #11 Lost to #1 Lost to unranked Lost to #1 Lost to #2 Lost to #13
  12. And why is Tech the top one loss seed when they have by far the worst loss? Oregon only lost to the #1 team in the nation, not unranked ASU.
  13. The schedule isn't bad but why can the SEC office not figure out some balance of away/home games? Those idiots are always stacking both for some reason, all the road games in a row and then all the home games.
  14. ?? Texas was left out "for not playing in the ccg game" only to have Alabama qualify for postseason without playing in the ccg later. Moving target. Of course, ND has never played in a ccg either. Nobody should expect fairness in sport or these subjective selections but Texas is too often on the losing end of the equation while favored schools keep finishing on top. They literally announced a higher emphasis this year on schedule strength and then didn't follow through https://www.sportingnews.com/us/ncaa-football/news/college-football-playoffs-schedule-strength/0f63f37a4766d5fc44a89216
  15. Correct, and those guys all struggle to develop and coach on game day. Kiffin is building a looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane staff just like at USC
  16. They were not "all white" but they will likely be named top oline this year. In theory, we could easily let him focus on ST and hire a new TE coach.
  17. Texas is always fighting a moving target when it comes to postseason selection. We have been left out for every scenario. Playing a strong schedule with big ranked wins and still missing out is just the latest.
  18. Agree that 3 losses has long been a metric of no return and OOC schedule has also long been overlooked by the loss column. But, Alabama's season with 3 losses and ours are not comparable. They had two unranked (at game time) losses including a late whipping at the hands of .500 Oklahoma. Despite those similarities they never dropped below 15, unlike Texas which dropped out of top 25 completely. Even when they lost to OU, they only fell to #13. At the end of the season, our ranked wins this year are also superior to Alabama's last year.
  19. Dallas gets Japan versus Netherlands! England versus Croatia
  20. Is west Virginia's win over Pittsburgh the best non-conference win for the big 12 this year?
  21. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/47212583/georgia-seeks-390k-de-damon-wilson-transfer-damages Probably should have read your contract, Damon.
  22. So first round of games in Texas are group E (Dallas) and F (Houston) E has Germany, Ivory Coast and Ecuador F has Netherlands, Japan, Tunisia
  23. Frederick didn't become a full time starter until rs sophomore year
