  1. Are you prepared for the rapture, sir,? I'm about to see if you are, if you don't tip on this $400 meal
  2. Agree. I grew up with both sides of this rivalry, so didn't really think much of how one school acted towards the other. Naively, it was just another college rivalry between two teams. The way they acted on this day towards our players and school, it really opened my eyes to just how manic aggy gets with Texas. The inferiority complex, coupled with "little man" syndrome of their cadets l, really creates a frenzy of ridiculous behavior. Then, you had the horse shit thrower and it just sealed the deal for me. I had no desire to renew this rivalry and no intention of engaging these goobers on anything Texas/A&M.
  3. https://www.npr.org/2024/11/13/nx-s1-5181821/trump-latinos-evangelicals-economy-transgender-abortion-education?fbclid=IwY2xjawGot1BleHRuA2FlbQIxMAABHW2AW8XgpYyRTo8hnQ3E6yXbKQ_CxdPCYLmMfcsGoX92UO155DEJUkQj9w_aem_Ni_DH1XNYXARN_4qEkI0fA Is there such a thing as a Democratic strategist that actually works for a living and isn't griftinf their way to a hefty paycheck? This has been the trend for at least 8 years now.
  4. John Palmer never had more than 500 yards in a college season AND he is Canadian. Pick 77 in 2021.
  5. That Steelers INT. Holy shit.
  6. Yep. They would be up by 4 now, making the Bears get to the endzone for a win. Instead, Bears only need a fg to win.
  7. Why wouldn't they take the fg?
  8. Wow, that is just sad. Restaurant owners think a manager should work themselves to death for $36k with no additionalcompensation?
  9. Broughton head lock not a hold? Granted refs have been quiet
  10. 2 sacks in first half for Simmons, 1 for Moore, 1 for Collins
  11. Quinn out here doubling the Ark sack total on the year
  12. I am trying to find the source but I did read a random comment that at least some of the funding sources will transition to HHS.
  13. Yes, seperate terms and all. I doubt we know that quick whether or not Gaetz will make it through to confirmation before January.
  14. So this corrupt shit spends the last 4 years with Trump's thumb up his ass like a puppet and gets passed over for Gaetz?
  15. Britt being targeted by jigsaw and her pack of misfits. What kind of logical leaps does it take to pretend Scott isn't a status quo senator?
  16. In what silly world is Rick Scott not part of the "establishment". He has only been a politician for a few years less than Thune and has the added bonus of being rich from defrauding the government.
  17. Trump's America will include a dumbed down military, straight out of the Stalin, Pinochet, Saddam, Putin, Hitler books of strategy. A move towards loyalty in the military leadership ranks as the means of judgement for fitness will ruin the world's greatest military institution. The military fitness review process in the U.S. primarily involves evaluations conducted within the military chain of command, focusing on the physical, mental, and professional capabilities of military leaders. This process does not typically involve political appointees. Instead, it is managed by military personnel to ensure that leaders meet the necessary standards for their roles. This process has evolved over the century of its existence into a great process that largely guarantees seperation of the existing military from the whims of politicians. Through this process, the United States is the greatest military power in the World regardless of which party is in the White House. Like many authoritarians, faced with destroying democracies in their country, Chile's Pinochet immediately targeted existing military leadership in 1973. He purged them through arrests, reassignment and forced retirements. They were replaced in favor of less competent loyalists who refused to contradict his command, no matter how immoral. He would then use the military to suppress political opposition for his 17 year reign. Authoritarian regimes often weaken their military by prioritizing loyalty over competence in leadership appointments. They do this to use the military as they see fit, especially against their own citizens. This undermines military effectiveness, as seen in other historical examples like Saddam Hussein’s Iraq, Nazi Germany under Hitler and Putin's Russia. The fear of coups drives this practice, leading to constant strategic and operational blunders. Ultimately, this leads to severe weakening of the military capabilities of these countries under authoritarian rule. https://www.wsj.com/politics/national-security/trump-draft-executive-order-would-create-board-to-purge-generals-7ebaa606?mod=e2fb&fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR1RSF1IxN51Y_BfKiDMuFUBbEl9SOdGXGdz6grBpv-cuxQRM2j68tG6cjM_aem_fSk7rmcY-V1JNy9A-50Vsw
  18. "I never did this when Biden won" "Not talking to me because of politics" I tried unsuccessfully to explain this to family who were complaining about "losing friends because of politics". Trump's mouth, associatiates and history of actions took the Presidential choice way beyond just politics. It's entirely too convenient, aka horseshit, for them to try and limit the scope of everyone's issue with Trump to just "politics". Of course, these family members will lose their face if ACA goes away too.
