Sadly I think this result nationwide is highlighting the racism and sexism that is more prevalent than I wanted to believe.

Is this kid a hero the Penn State campus now, right there with Jerry Sandusky? 🤣

I know I'm wishcasting but... I don't know any typical Democrats are who are so turned off by Harris that they would consider voting for Trump, but I know several typical Republicans (myself included) who are repulsed by Trump to the point of either not voting, or even voting for Harris. Multiply that by thousands and let's see how things turn out. Just my personal anecdote from N. Dallas burbs. -

Ok, finally getting around to posting a recap… LONG POST IS LONG Started by flying into Glasgow after our week in Ireland and doing a walking tour… Internationally famous celebrity is rumored to live above this bingo hall. A pic from inside the Inveraray Jail, the sky was angry that day. Stayed on the southern shore of Loch Ness in this old monastery / boarding school. Definite Hogwarts vibe Did a day tour of Isle of Skye Saw a small herd of Shaggy friends on the way toward Isle of Skye Old Man of Storr the Midges were a nuisance IMG_5016.mov Went to the Highland Games in Aberfeldy. Absolute blast. If you ever have the opportunity to go see a Highland Games definitely make it happen. This guy was the emcee. He was easily tree fiddy and spoke unintelligibly for 2 straight hours. Perfect way to spend the day. This old man has lived more life than 5 of us combined some of the strongman competitors before competing I didn’t sign up but I contemplated it. Ha ha Drove to Balmoral to tour the castle, this stuff was beautiful and everywhere Cornerstone set by Queen Victoria Our hotel in that area, an old country home for some early tycoon. A tree stump on the grounds. Diameter 7-8 feet. Pano from the top of the Wallace National Monument St. Andrews was our pentultimate stop. Stayed at the Old Course Hotel. Our room looked out over the Road Hole... My youngest and I are the only golfers in the family so we didn't plan to play but we stayed on Saturday night so we could walk the course on Sunday morning. Finished by playing the Himalayas putting course. Overall very fun and spent way too much $$$ at the pro shop. Definitely want to go back to play a round at some point. On the Himalayas putting course IMG_5286.mov.a03fc281b6bde648a38eea41735cfb0c.mov Final stop was Edinburgh, did a tour of the castle and strolled the Royal Mile. Tattoo (we didn’t go) and Fringe Festival was going on. The Fringe Festival was interesting people watching. We developed a taste for IRN BRU while in Scotland Overall a fun trip. Several things we would have loved to have had more time for, but we knew it was going to be a whirlwind. No wrecks, or flat tires, but a couple of near misses. Thanks to everyone who provided guidance and insight.

Pretty funny troll job. If they hadn't been working unsuccessfully on a stadium reno for half a decade it might be believable they could pull something like this off in a week.

Kristen Chenowith, spinner and ETBF prototype. Might be showing age (56) a bit, but still quite strong. fantastic back in the day...

It's been a few years since my last visit, but I was impressed with Kayne Prime for a steak dinner in Nashville. https://www.kayneprimenashville.com/ The 12 South neighborhood is also a good spot to just walk around and find places that look interesting to grab a drink or hang out.

Beginning around 18:10 mark of the video he tees off with a putter on a par 5 and hits it around 280y.

Who's been covid vaxxed? Stand up and be counted.

Ok, thanks. I've always been a crappy sleeper and it is getting worse as I get older. How do these differ from CBD sleep gummies? -

You talking about this? https://hometownhero.com/p/hhc-gummies-strawberry/ I know nothing of this. Do you take every night or just if you've been in a bad sleep cycle? -
Not permanently, it will only be empty between hurricanes.

My cousin lives in Sarasota. He said he and his neighbor put up their hurricane shutters and are planning to stay. They are about 7 miles inland as the crow flies so they are going to ride it out. I'd be leaving if I was him. Well maybe some doom scrolling is what you need. 🤣 Hope you are turning the corner

What I have come up with as the most "Texas" orange is actually RGB 191, 87, 0. It's not perfect but the wife and kids all agree it is the closest we could get. -

I sold tickets to the Eras Tour show at Jerryworld last year. YMMV, but I never uploaded tickets to Stubhub. I listed the tickets and input the section row and seat numbers in that process. When they sold, Stubhub gave me the email address for the buyer and said I needed to go to the original ticket sellers portal (Seatgeek was the exclusive ticket seller for Jerryworld events, whereas Ticketmaster infamously handled most tickets to the Eras tour) and transfer the tickets to the purchaser. I made the transfer in the Seatgeek app and got a notice at somepoint that my ticket transfer had been accepted / received by the buyer. A week or so after the show Stubhub paid me. Good luck!!

I understand that Ticketmaster is not allowing resale, but is there a reason you can't just sell them on Stubhub instead? https://www.stubhub.com/taylor-swift-new-orleans-tickets-10-25-2024/event/152129103/?quantity=2 Once the sale is made, you can transfer in your ticketmaster app based on the buyer's info provided to you by Stubhub. Also, PSA my daughter had her ticketmaster account hacked and 4 tickets stolen the week of a show recently (she received an email from Ticketmaster informing her that her transfer had been accepted). Long story short, she got her original tickets reinstated the morning of the show, but it was a stressful week working through the process with TM's "stellar" customer service department. Moral of the story, change your TM password.
