  1. Yeah I thought it was pretty clear from the trailer shots that Cruise was actually in the planes especially in the take off scene from the carrier.
  2. Wife and I said the same thing. What could possibly go wrong................ I hope to hell they do the right thing but I can seem them getting talked into making the wrong decision. This. It's the typical perfect scenario that of course never seems to work out especially this many people left. The funniest part of that is he could have had a normal conversation with her instead of coming off like the condescending asshole that he actually is. Just say hey Kemi, would you mind if you didn't put your shaker cup in the fridge as the rest of us can't because there wouldn't be enough room?
  3. Yeah this is really the bigger code. To not allow gas in new buildings is comical. I am sure every potential new restaurant is pumped to have to cook with electricity......
  4. yep. Zach Johnson has 12 tour wins. Without the Green Jacket and the Open win at St. Andrews nobody would know who the hell he even was. The other five that have a green jacket and Open win at St. Andrews: Snead, Nicklaus, Faldo, Ballesteros, Woods.
  5. A California city voted to ban some gender-specific words in its city code and replace them with gender-neutral options. Berkeley's municipal code will no longer feature words like "manhole" and "manpower," and instead say, "maintenance hole" and "human effort" or "workforce." The measure passed unanimously Tuesday and replaces more than two dozen terms. Gender-specific references to job titles, like "policeman" and "craftsmen," will also be changed in the code, to "police officer" and "craftspeople" or "artisans." "Sorority" and "fraternity" would change to "collegiate Greek system residence." And the use of gendered pronouns, like "he" and "she," would be replaced with specific titles, like "the attorney" or "the candidate." Rigel Robinson, the council member who proposed the measure, praised its passage in a tweet Tuesday. "There is power in language. This is a small move, but it matters," he tweeted. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2019/07/18/berekeley-bans-gendered-words-manhole-becomes-maintenance-hole/1764901001/
  6. 1000%. Balls of steel to come in in that situation.
  7. Yeah and the problem with that is Big Brother again this season is cutting out a ton of shit (especially with Jack) that would paint him in a much different light. Only the feed viewers know what is actually going on in the house and how big of an asshole those guys really are.
  8. My wife and I went to Boka a few weeks ago. Tasting menu was great. This post still has me laughing. It would be like going to "New York" staying in New Brunswick, NJ and going to NYC to check out Times Square and eat at the Applebees. "parking sucked and I was driving a Yukon XL" might be my favorite part. Aside from O'hare sucking (which it does) you literally did everything in Chicago that even those people from Podunk, IA know to fucking avoid. So fucking great.
  9. He will always be remembered fondly for 2016 and I feel bad for him he never got into the rotation long term but this sounded like it needed to be done for all parties involved:
  10. 19 over. not bad with a 13 on your card...... Your standard: 2 birdies, 7 pars, 6 bogies, triple, quad, and octuple. Fairways hit- 23% (current average 62%)
  11. The wintertime was bleak for Bird. In this year’s first quarter, the electric scooter operator lost nearly $100 million while revenue shrank sharply to only about $15 million, people familiar with the matter said. In the spring, it told people it was down to about $100 million in cash, even after raising more than $700 million over a year and a half. https://www.theinformation.com/articles/hit-by-big-loss-bird-seeks-300m-in-new-funds I don't see a problem here at all.............
  12. Yep. I look forward to Bella seeing after the season that she was 100% wrong. Of course she is such an awful person it won't register with her that she was wrong and acted like the bully she so very much claimed she wasn't.
  13. Welcome to Chicago. But that is one of the cheapest hotels around Michigan Ave just an FYI. (currently can get a room for $125 a night = you get what you pay for)
  14. The living victims stories are just awful.
  15. It's cool that his son is supporting him and it's obviously a great/funny story but it cracks me up his son overlooks the questionable decisions he made. Sending an email to all 4,300 DHS employees to listen to Tupac in honor of the rappers birthday seems rather troubling to start.
  16. Wife calling me at work..................... Mrs. Hoffa- Do you think I should buy the boys medium swimming suits? Me- I think that would be fine, isn't that what they wear now? Mrs- Yes Me- Perfect, I will talk to.... Mrs.- I should probably get them a new set of goggles too, I need to double check what else is on the list, do you remember if we need........... FUCK MY LIFE I AM SHOPPING WITH MY WIFE AND I AM NOT EVEN AT THE FUCKING STORE WITH HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. Sergeant Lemaire had already seen the perils that the northern tower held earlier that evening. In the time it took to decide on the new plan, things only got worse. “We were at first reluctant to go because we weren’t sure we’d have an escape route,” he recalled. A group of firefighters from a neighboring suburb refused to go, but another team said it would do it. Good to see the French still doing their thing.
  18. Well, I guess everyone is right about the show. Wells a guy that finished I think 10th on his season just got engaged to the chick from Modern Family.
  19. It was taped last week. He was there. Speaking of looks like the creator is just as much a douche bag as some of the contestants. Fell for the "I don't want to have another baby, I'm on birth control" line from his wife. Nice work Mike. In the legal docs, filed by the powerhouse team of attorneys Samantha Spector and Lisa Meyer, Laura says Mike violently attacked her while arguing over the topic of her pregnancy. She claims, "While Mike has frequently been verbally abusive towards me during our marriage, in recent weeks, he has become enraged, due to the fact I am pregnant with our second child. Mike told me many times that he did not want us to have a second child. He also repeatedly told me throughout our marriage, and prior to our marriage, that he knew he would 'have to have' one child with me because I was 26-years-old when we got married, did not yet have any children, and he knew I wanted to have a family. Mike, however, being 55-years old, did not want to have more than one child together." https://theblast.com/c/bachelor-mike-fleiss-attack-wife-abortion-pregnant-restraining-order
