  1. For those that haven't seen the video it's even worse than you think. I pray for the guy that will be giving up half his shit in about 3 years-
  2. I don't disagree but that was an exception not the norm for traditional TV series.
  3. Any clip of that goal? I couldn't find it on twitter.
  4. 100% this. He gave up a sure fire route to the final 5 by trying to make a big move way too early like we said last week. Just stupid and didn't need to be done. Ron and Devens are both living on borrowed time. And kelley got just as much air time this week as she did prior to be voting out. That leads me to believe she's the one that wins the chance to get back in the game.
  5. They have been pimping the Kyle/Paulie/Cara story line way too much all season for it not to happen. On the flip side that is exactly why they used the cliff hanger that they did to make the audience assume he volunteers. Either way it was producer provoked. When has someone ever asked if there was a volunteer to go in like Wes asked?
  6. Nope, just their lawyer saying "this is the best shot you have: you have to play dumb" They knew exactly what they were doing was illegal, why in the hell wouldn't you just help your daughter fill out her application? Oh that's right because you knew she wouldn't have gotten in without your help because you allowed her to instagram her way through high school and she didn't learn a damn thing.
  7. Yeah, I haven't cut yet but paying what I'm paying I sure as shit shouldn't have to "be on the same wifi network as your genie to view content online" as is required for some of the shows/channels to stream.
  8. I thought this was a great point about this week leading up to Sunday's episode- Similar to the last 6 episodes of Breaking Bad, etc.
  9. 3 pages in and nobody has brought this up????? This place is slipping. I will just throw in my two cents- The size of the rock is just a piece of the puzzle. Having a huge rock that looks like shit because it's low quality you might as well give her one from a vending machine. Color and clarity are just as important (in my opinion), the higher up the scales the more it's going to cost. For your salary I don't think $10K is crazy but also think a 2 carat ring for that price means it's not a great looking diamond. If size is what you are after have at it but I think you are missing the boat. Also one cut will "look bigger" than another cut even though they are the same number of carats. Stay away from the mall jewelers or big chains. If possible go to a local jeweler that has been around for a long time and take your time in choosing, get educated before making a decision. They will give you the ins and outs of what part of the scale is important and what can't be seen by the naked eye, etc. In my opinion upgrading later is silly. I have been married for 15 years and I could afford to upgrade now but my wife would look at me like I was crazy if I even mentioned it. To her it has sentimental value. You can always buy her other jewelry. Good luck and congrats.
  10. Wes straight up choked. The very first time around the wrist/arm is the most important. I did think it was BS they were allowed to move while being taped but thought it was pretty funny Georgia was able to get in his head so easily.
  11. NFL network. I haven't watched ESPN's coverage in probably 5 or 6 years.
  12. I remembered that as well based on your description and had the same reaction. I guess it's like everything knowing what you know now changes things. Sue's final tribal speech from season one if it happened today wouldn't be that big of a deal but at the time it was a huge because nobody had ever expected someone to do that. Throw in the fact those finale shows had 50 million viewers in the early seasons vs. 7 or 8 million now it isn't the national talking point like it once was. And for me bitching about all the changes the show had made it is way more tightly produced and edited (for the better) then it was in the first few seasons where they showed a ton of down time and people talking about stupid stuff that had nothing to do with the actual game.
  13. I loved the during the Evil Dave repeat stuff this week when Robin said "he was so good that David Letterman probably didn't even realize it wasn't him saying those things."
  14. and for the record I didn't know her age or when her birthday was until I looked it up on imdb.com.
  15. Ha, I saw that. I give her 18 months tops after he retires.
  16. Well if that's the case people are really going to be fucking pissed in this thread if the last episode is just the night king and the army of the dead walking around not saying a damn thing after winning the war and killing all of the living.
