  1. I see it both ways. As for their reason for doing it? Easy produced drama and story line. And probably also to avoid all the non athletic people (and women to a lesser degree) from getting voted off early and leaving only alpha males. That said I watched a couple of the first season episodes' on whatever platform has them and holy hell were they boring. It was shocking to see so much air time being given to people just laying around camp doing nothing.
  2. 1. I have no problem with the Man U penalty. And if VAR helps get defenders to hold their arms in close to them when they go to block a shot well then I am all for it. 2. I don't have a problem with the pull of the jersey call (for the same reason above, if it keeps defenders from doing it) but there are probably 10-15 more serious, holds, grabs, etc. that happen during almost every game that don't get called, and I don't like them rewarding an offensive player "diving" when they had no chance to come close to making a play on that cross It's not a perfect system just crazy that both games came down to VAR decisions and hopefully it helps more than it hurts longer term with fewer and fewer issues as it gets used more.
  3. There is nothing worse than an uneducated hypocritical "vegetarian".
  4. Yes they do through CBS All Access- https://www.cbs.com/shows/survivor/ I was worried Wentworth was getting voted out last night. Lauren's body is insane and I have no idea why they wanted to keep Wendy. Speaking of if I was in her tribe and she did what they show she does on the preview for next week I would have lost my shit.
  5. The whole climbing part of the Doc was great. Obviously going in we know he makes it but holy hell whatever portion of the climb where he had to do the karate kick as well as at the very end where he goes around the edge and looks like he's hanging on the side of the earth were just beautifully done and I had anxiety sitting on my couch. I also loved that they said he had made it when he still was one foot slip away from falling 2700 ft to his death but they knew because the "hard part" of the climb was over. Just fucking nuts. As for the GF she was slightly annoying but she didn't bother me too much. And buying that tiny fridge to put in that house was funny as hell.
  6. I would be fine with an entire hour + of just the final battle leave all of the chit chat and shit for the last episode or two.
  7. Ha, the first MLB game I ever saw was with my Dad, Brother and Uncle and we sat in the left field wall windows. As a kid I thought it was so cool being so close to the left fielders and having Ron Kittle talk to you between innings was pretty damn cool for an 8 year old.
  8. Old Comiskey was better than Tiger Stadium. There I said it.
  9. Talk about petty........ ESPN shows clip of Bill Simmons interviewing Adam Silver, except they CGI'd Simmons out of the video but left in him saying "yes" 2 Min mark
  10. Not saved but at least it's still a baseball field with the same dimensions as Tiger Stadium- Which is better than what old Comiskey is now a parking lot-
  11. It did not. However they just did a controlled Avalanche that closed the road today. The Colorado Department of Transportation shut down I-70 at 8:46 a.m. Tuesday. Shortly afterwards, crews used cannons to set off an avalanche on Mount Bethel near Herman Gulch. The snow slide that resulted sent 15 feet of snow over I-70’s westbound lanes and 8 feet of snow across the eastbound lanes. CDOT said it was the largest avalanche in that slide path in over 30 years. “There was some debris that came down. A cable guardrail was also damaged,” said CDOT spokeswoman Tracy Trulove. “Our team is clearing trees, rocks and dirt.” Avalanche mitigation work that led to other highway closings also took place on Interstate 70 between Copper Mountain and Frisco as well as Highway 40 over Berthoud Pass. “Our team is pretty darn busy today,” said Trulove. Operations at Loveland ski area are ongoing but skiers will be unable to leave the resort until the work is complete, unless there’s an emergency. That’s because Loveland Pass is also closed.
  12. I don't get the hate on Cassie (not from you from everyone on social media) because they don't give a shit about her as a person they just blame her for ruining the viewers fairytale ending (that oh by the way actually works out about 5% of the time based on the shows previous history). Yes, I understand love at first sight blah, blah, blah but she probably really liked Colton but just didn't want him to choose her if he had similar feelings to one of the other two girls because she wasn't willing to commit. Not to mention she's young, her family was influencing her, and she sure as hell was getting mind fucked by producers that it seems like a totally logical outcome based on the show time frame and now in real life.
  13. I haven't watched just DVR'd it but was Sunday part 1 and last night part 2?
  14. Yes, I am by no means saying what he did was OK, but the "SF CEO DRAGS his wife on the cement" might have been a little over the top.
  15. 3 close games. I think I saw they got two in the 9th to win the only game of the series correct? Not that losing the series isn't bad but getting swept would have been awful.
  16. Yes, everyone should regardless of age. Every. Year. They are free!
  17. Penn State liked their football too much........ Hollywood loved Harvey's movies too much.......... USA gymnastics loved their gold medals too much......... Water is wet. Adults with otherwise good and sound judgement just close their eyes to the truth in front of them because it's easier to look the other way than do what is right. Sad but true.
  18. Holy crap this has to be the first time a "news organization" hasn't run a news story because it didn't fit their narrative or would do harm to someone they supported. Nope, that has never happened before. Sadly it's pretty par for the course.
